if i buy a used modded switch from someone, and they had dbi, would that be safe to use?
i heard english dbi adds a tag to the switch’s memory so it can get bricked, would this be a concern if the person i’m buying from used hats(with english dbi patch) or just english dbi b4?
like would it be fine as long as i do a clean install on microsd? i’m assuming the tag is in the switch internal storage but is there a way to fix that in that case? since i probably won’t have access to a nand backup from before they installed it
