How to get rid of this sound?

It’s coming from/near the compressor. The noise only happens when the compressor turns on to cool. When not cooling then it’s instantly quiet. It’s quite loud that it wakes you up.

If it’s an easy fix with opening it up then it’s better than hauling this thing back to return.

What makes a window AC rattle?

I bought a refurbished window AC from Midea (MAW12AV1QWT-C). After running it on cool mode for a while like 30 minutes, I start to hear rattling noise and I can feel the vibration from the unit. I tried holding the unit, but the noise is definitely from internally. When I turn off then on instantly, it stopped the noise, so does when I increase set temperature.

Is there an easy way to fix this without having to box it up and take it to return because it would be a pain if I can easily fix it myself. Or is this even a common thing across all window AC.

Rattling noise MAW12AV1QWT-C

Occasionally I will hear rattling noise when the device run for a while and you can feel vibration. The weird thing is a simple off then on again fixes it, which means it’s probably not hardware defect?

I bought it refurbished on Walmart sold by Midea directly.

Will I stuck as Technician?

I recently graduated in computer engineering and been applying to job for a couple weeks and I applied to engineer and technical roles. I haven’t heard back from any engineer position, but I got offer a job at a defense company as a Electrical Test Technician. If I take this, will it kill my engineering career if I stay here for a year or two while trying to pursue a master in electrical engineering?

Should I keep applying to get an engineer position or do I just take this to not risk unemployment/career gap? I guess I am most afraid of putting a technician brand on myself.

Edit: I just saw that another person posted 13 hours worrying about the same thing lol

I really want to be an embedded software engineer, but I don’t know anyone who I even went to school with who is an embedded software engineer. I’m losing hope because there are barely any entry/associate roles within my city (Boston), most are senior roles which require a lot of experience. Is it genuinely over if I don’t have someone to help me get in the door because project alone is not enough to get in the door anymore in my opinion.
