I’m an E-5 with 5 years, currently working on my WOFT packet. I’m trying to figure out if making the jump to Warrant is worth it with the current situation aviation is in. For those who have gone WOFT, would you do it again? How’s the quality of life, job, and overall experience compared to being enlisted? Just looking for some honest opinions before I make the decision.
Recently PCS’d to Fort Hood and currently finishing up my WOFT packet. I’m looking for a CW3 or higher who’d be willing to interview me and possibly provide an LOR for my packet. I’ve been trying to network locally but figured I’d ask here as well. If anyone could point me in the right direction or is willing to help, I’d really appreciate it.

I’m PCSing to Fort hood in two weeks, E-5 going to 1CD Sustainment BDE, Somebody please tell me the barracks situation before I arrive and find out that’s I get a moldy room with a roommate named Specialist Snorlax who games until 0400.
Do NCOs get decent rooms there or am I about to experience the true Great Place experience? how cooked am I?
