Moving to MA! Best family town to live on North shore?

hello! Moving to MA soon with our 1 yo from Philly. My husband and I are 33 and he will be working in Tewksbury (I fortunately WFH). I would love to live in a beach town where we can for example, grab dinner to go and sit on the beach on a week day.

Any recs for towns with beach access, still a suburb/neighborhood feel, nice Main Street area, 45 mins or less to Tewksbury and decent/good schools?

Family moving to MA from Philly, should we choose Chelmsford?

Hello! My husband got a great job offer in Tewksbury. we are considering moving to Chelmsford with our 1 year old and we’re 33 years old. Can any families share their pros and cons? It seems like a great family friendly place… I also want us to enjoy living here as individuals too. We are pretty active people and will definitely miss city life but are ready for more space. What do you guys do in the winter for fun😅 ?

I also grew up in RI and was hoping to be closer to the beach but that is seeming less possible.

South shore to Tewksbury commute?

my husband just got a great job offer in Tewksbury and we are looking to move to MA from Philly.

I really have my heart set on the south shore but the 1 hr commute plus Boston traffic worries me for him. I luckily WFH.

Does anyone have a similar commute or any insights?

we have a 1 year old as well and are seeking a family friendly beach town with good schools and a nice Main Street area.
