Healthcare virtual assistant Philippines, how long was the training curve

Small specialty clinic. Considering remote help for scheduling, verification and patient callbacks.

The budget works. What I don't have a feel for is how long before someone is comfortable with US insurance terminology, our EHR, and the specific weirdness of how our patients talk about their coverage.

Also, timezone. Our phones are busiest 8 to 10am. How are people covering that.

How do I find a filipino va that's a good fit and not just cheap

People talk about hiring a filipino va like it's a cheat code, and I do believe the value is real. But I've also watched someone chase the cheapest rate and end up training three people in a row who all disappeared. I'd rather pay fair once and keep someone. How do you screen for the ones who stick around? And does going through an agency help with that, or just add a fee?

First time using buy here pay here in Irvington, NJ, what should I expect?

First time buying like this and I'm nervous. Credit's rough, I'm right in the Irvington/Essex County area, and I've been searching buy here pay here Irvington NJ to find somewhere local that'll actually work with me instead of pulling my credit and saying no on the spot.

For anyone who bought around here (Irvington, Newark, East Orange), how fast can you actually get approved and out the door if you bring everything? What's a reasonable down payment locally? I've got around $1,000 to $1,500. Did they let you get it checked by your own mechanic, and did they report your payments?

I just need something reliable to get to work, close to home, from people who treat me like a person.

Left my corporate job 6 months ago to be a VA

Backstory I worked in corporate for 5 years as a marketing coordinator 35k per month, stable pero grabe yung stress everyday traffic 3 hours total, office politics, toxic boss. Laging overtime pero walang bayad. June 2025 I decided thats it I cant do this anymore. Nag resign ako, lahat ng tao sabi sakin sayang daw stable job ko pero alam ko mentally I was breaking down. August 2025 nag apply ako sa Virtual Coworker tbh takot ako. What if di ako ma hire what if di ako mag succeed as VA pero I took the risk. They matched me with a marketing agency client doing almost same work pero remote 750 dollars per month mas mataas pa than my corporate salary. After 2 months nag add pa sila ng another client. Now Im earning around 1200 dollars monthly for 40 hours per week. But you know what the best part is wala na kong traffic bago makarating ng office, nakakain ako ng breakfast with my family, naka workout na ako, nakakapag lunch ako ng maayos, walang toxic officemates, walang politics, yes may challenges walang benefits, walang leaves, walang 13th month. Pero for me worth it. The quality of life ko sobrang nag improve. If you're thinking about leaving corporate to be VA just make sure you have emergency fund at least 3 months kasi mahirap talaga first few months. Pero if you push through worth it naman talaga.
