I've done little stuff on erasers using an xacto knife before, but this is my first planned block print with real lino and tools. I have lots to learn still but I'm pretty happy with how it went.
No accidental gouges, on me or the lino. Lots of chatter but I don't hate it.
I do, however, dislike Speedball tools already and it's all I've ever used. Might look into something better. I need a finer tip for sure.
I just want to go lay in the sun and be a lump.
Part of the Familiars series. Available until 7/28
These two are available now!
5 and 6 of ten - The Owl and The Fox
https://ebay.us/m/hfgxaC Two new cards from the painting "Familiars in the Garden of Dusk and Dawn" are finished and available now on eBay. They could go fast, so check them out while you can!
Every card in this series has some sort of pearl or metallic accents. β¨
Rabbit symbolism tied to water represents longevity, peace, and emotional depth. Because rabbits are traditionally associated with the moon, they are intrinsically linked to water through the moon's gravitational pull over the tides.
I'm back from commissions with four cards, part of a set of ten. Familiars in the Garden of Dusk and Dawn all have metallic accents, and come together to make a larger painting!
The rest will be releasing as I finish them.
EDIT: Raven and Cat sold immediately, sorry π
I've been putting off making this one for a few years and finally got to it π
