Just wondering: is a weeklong suspension enough for punishment for beating up a teacher?

For context: a freshman at my high school got into a fight. Teacher tried to break it up, got put into a chokehold. The kid got suspended for a week, and as an office aid, I was privy to the administration's decision process. Many teachers thought that being suspended for a week wasn't enough. What do you guys think?

Which one of these chuds should rizz up my MC in Book 1?

For reference, setting is a modern-day musical conservatory. 2 campuses across the world. MC (15 GF) is nepo baby/relatively famous musical prodigy/evil dictator's daughter.

For further information: Chuds #1 (15M quiet and accomplished) and #2 (17M class clown shunned by peers) will lead to friends to lovers. Chud #3 (16M evil North Korean diplomat son) will lead to a very slow enemies to lovers. Chud #4 (14NB ambitious and relatively weird) is an old isolated childhood friend.
