Help me to get roots from cutting

I have tried 4 times before 2 times in soil , 1 time in water and cocopit , but failed to produce roots from cutting. The one with water is still green but leaves are turning blackish, what should I do ?

Got this plant for free because the nursery man thought it wouldn't survive — trying my best to save it, please help!

The nursery owner gave it to me at no charge because he didn't think it would make it. The roots were completely buried in heavy clay soil with zero drainage.

Here's what I've done so far:

- Removed all the clay soil from the roots

- Repotted with a mix of coarse sand, small stones, and crushed dried leaves

I've attached a photo of the roots — they don't look great but I feel like there's still hope.

I really need advice on:

- Do the roots look like they can recover?

- Is my soil mix okay or should I change it?

- Should I treat the roots with anything?

- How do I water it during recovery?

I'm a beginner and this little plant deserves a fighting chance. Any help means the world! Location Kolkata

Just received a few orchids I ordered online. I went with the cheapest option available, so I wasn't expecting premium quality plants — but I'd still love to keep them healthy! I have three orchids I'd like some help identifying issues with :

🪴 One in a green net net

🌿 One photographed in front of a wall

🌱 One photographed in front of the floor

(I mentioned the backgrounds because all three plants look almost identical — hopefully it helps tell them apart!)

Do any of them show signs of root rot or any other problems I should be aware of? Also, should I be trimming any of the leaves, or is it best to leave them as they are?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hey everyone! Getting a plant in the first place is honestly quite difficult. But once you have one, you need to regularly cut it to maintain it — and I just can't bring myself to throw those cuttings in the bin, so I plant them instead. Over time this means I end up with more plants of same variety and running out of space.

Rather than discarding them, I'm thinking of selling maybe 10 plants a month to give them a good home.

Quick context about me:

I deactivated Facebook intentionally — not interested in mixing personal life with selling

I'd rather stay relatively anonymous

I'm not a professional seller, just someone who can't waste a good cutting 🌿

My questions:

Would platforms like Messho or Amazon work for such small volumes? Are there fees that make it not worth it?

Are there plant-specific marketplaces better suited for casual, small-volume sellers?

Has anyone had success selling without a social media presence tied to their real identity
