30F | Singapore/Asia | Lover girl seeking connection

Edit: I won’t reply to a low-effort intro as i have included in my post what i expect you to include in your intro

Okay, trying this again.

I’m 30, currently working a stressful corporate job, and honestly… I think I’d much rather build a peaceful home than spend the rest of my life chasing corporate deadlines.

Long-term, I’d love to be a stay-at-home w!fe if my partner is financially comfortable enough for that. I genuinely enjoy homemaking, cooking, taking care of the people I love, and creating a warm home. Although i might get bored and want to return to workforce someday. I hope you will be okay with that too.

I also love travelling, so ideally I’d want someone who enjoys exploring the world together before we settle down and think about kids.

But more importantly, I’m a lover girl. I romanticise life a lot. It’s the little things for me like going grocery shopping together, reading a book under a tree, cooking together, watching a really good movie or series on the couch and talking about it afterwards, randomly going out for dessert, planning our next trip together etc. i just want to do life together and someone who wants to get involved in making decisions together.

I don’t want someone who’s nonchalant or afraid to show affection. I want someone who isn’t afraid to love me loudly.

I’m quite direct when it comes to communication. If something bothers me, I’ll tell you. If I like you, I’ll probably tell you that too. I don’t play mind games, and I’m not interested in guessing games either.

I’m also not afraid to put effort into a relationship. If I care about you, I’ll show up, make time, plan things, and put in the effort to make it work. But it has to be a two-way street. I’m not interested in carrying a relationship by myself.

Also, if you’re avoidant, please don’t message me🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 I’m pretty direct and confrontational when it comes to relationships, and I’d rather talk things out than disappear, give someone the silent treatment, or play it cool.

I’m Muslim, so I’d prefer someone who is respectful of that and is genuinely dating with marr!age in mind. If you don’t mind converting as it’s a legal requirement from i come from.

For now, I’d prefer someone nearby because I actually want to go on dates and get to know each other in person. If you live further away, that’s okay too, but please don’t message me if you’re looking for a forever pen pal. If we get along, I’d expect us to make an actual plan to meet within a couple of months and a steady communication over the phone. Please don’t expect me to be okay with once a week check ins and called it a relationship.

I also have a type, and I won’t be offended if I’m not yours either. Ideally, I’d prefer someone taller than me, around 175cm+, decent and clean looking, and I’m attracted to a strong/active guy who workout as im currently working towards a healthier lifestyle myself. And if you’re tender at heart, that’s a huge plus. I’m quite nurturing and loving myself. I’m not always the best at putting my feelings into words, but I tend to show love through my actions.

I’m generally warm, introverted but can be social at times, easy to get along with, and I have a good relationship with my friends and family. I like reading, movies and series, nature, travelling, exploring cities, trying new food, and honestly just experiencing life.

So yeah… I’m looking for someone kind, emotionally available, affectionate, communicative, financially stable, and serious about building a life together.

And please, if you message me, give me an actual introduction. Your age, where you’re from, what you do, what you’re looking for, and what kind of life you want to build with someone, and a little bit about yourself would be a good start. Attach your picture too please. I promise I’ll appreciate the effort and wouldn’t mind sharing mine.

Also, if you messaged me from my previous post but didn’t get a reply, and you’re still interested, feel free to message me again! I got pretty overwhelmed by the number of messages last time, and I didn’t have much free time to properly read through everything and respond to everyone. So if I missed yours, it genuinely wasn’t personal.

Planning my first solo trip to Finnish Lapland (28 Dec–7 Jan) - itinerary feedback and advice

Hi everyone!

I’m planning my first trip to Finland and would really appreciate some advice from people who know the country well.

My tentative travel dates are 28 December to 7 January, although I’m flexible if there’s a better time for what I want to experience.

The main reasons I chose Finland are:
- Seeing the Northern Lights (this is my #1 goal!)
- Visiting a husky farm and going on a husky sled ride

Here’s a very rough itinerary for Finnish Lapland:
Day 1: Arrive in Helsinki
Day 2: Fly to Rovaniemi, visit Santa Claus Village, evening Aurora hunt
Day 3: Husky farm and sledding, evening reserve for aurora hunt if first day no sighting
Day 4: Reindeer farm and Sami cultural experience
Day 5: Snowmobile safari, ice fishing and Finnish sauna
Day 6: Ranua Wildlife Park
Day 7: Glass igloo stay (if the budget allows)
Day 8: Korouoma Frozen Canyon hike
Day 9: Free day for another Aurora tour or any other winter activities
Day 10: Return to Helsinki
Day 11: Fly home

A little about me: I’m from a tropical country, so I’ve never experienced temperatures below about 20°C. I’ll also be travelling solo, so I’m hoping to have an unforgettable trip while still keeping costs reasonable.

I’d love to hear your thoughts on a few things:

  1. Is late December to early January a good time for my goals, or would another period (for example February or March) be better?
  2. Does this rough itinerary make sense, or would you recommend spending time somewhere other than Rovaniemi (such as Saariselkä, Levi, Ylläs, or elsewhere in Lapland)?
  3. If you had 10–11 days, would you stay in one place or split the trip between two or more destinations?
  4. Are there any must-do winter activities that I shouldn’t miss?
  5. As a solo traveller, what are your best tips for saving money without missing out on the experience?
  6. Are there any activities that are worth paying for and others that I could skip or do independently?
  7. Is it realistic to rely entirely on public transportation throughout the trip, or is renting a car strongly recommended? I’d prefer not to drive since I have no experience driving in snowy or icy conditions.
  8. Since I’ll be travelling during the Christmas/New Year period (28 Dec–7 Jan), are most attractions, tours and restaurants still open? Are there any places or activities that typically close or have reduced operating hours during this period that I should plan around?

I’d really appreciate any advice, recommendations, or things you wish you’d known before your first winter trip to Finnish Lapland.

Thank you so much!

30F - Asia/Singapore/Anywhere

I want to post this half for fun, half seriously.
Is there anyone out there who wants to w!fe me up and let me be a housew*fe?🥹

I’m currently working a stressful corporate job, and maybe this is just the defeated version of me talking because today’s been one of those days. But honestly, the more I think about it, the more I realise my dream life is actually pretty simple.

I’d love to take care of our home, grow a little garden in the backyard, cook fresh meals every day, and keep our home warm and peaceful. Learning new recipes and feeding the people I love is genuinely one of my love languages.

I’m 30, by the way. And yes… I’m tired.

I’d say I’m a warm, lovely person, and I’m not socially awkward. I have good friends, a close relationship with my family, and I think I’m pretty easy to get along with.

I also love travelling, so if you can afford that too, even better. I’d love a partner who genuinely enjoys exploring new places together. We can spend a few years travelling first before thinking about having kids. (I have my own income and savings now so yeah)

I think I’d make a fun, supportive partner. I’m quite independent and financially responsible. I don’t expect to be spoiled all day tho. I simply enjoy homemaking a lot more than climbing the corporate ladder, and I’d love to build a peaceful home with the right person.

Looks-wise, I’m probably average. Not dropdead gorgeous, but definitely not ugly either. 😂

I like reading, watching movies and series, spending time in nature, exploring cities, and trying new things. Honestly, I’m up for almost anything.

Also, I’m Muslim, so ideally I’m looking for someone who’s respectful of that, or doesn’t mind that and is dating with marr!age in mind.

I’m just… exhausted. My work-life balance is practically nonexistent, and I’ve reached the point where I’m writing this Reddit post while sitting at work, stressing over endless deadlines and never-ending workloads. But who knows? Maybe something good will come out of this.

You:
- Financially stable enough that I can eventually become a stay-at-home w!fe.
- Decent-looking and takes care of yourself.
- Kind, caring, emotionally available, and communicates well.
- Wants to build a peaceful life together.
- Loves travelling (or at least is happy to explore new places together).
- Definitely not a creep.

P.S. I know this post might sound weird or make some people think I’m a gold digger, but I promise I’m not. I don’t need a billionaire or a luxury lifestyle. I just want a comfortable, peaceful life with someone who values having a happy home as much as I do.

If you think we’d get along, send me a message! Tell me a little about yourself, what made you message me, and what you’re looking for in a partner too!

Where do you guys go on weekends when you just need to breathe?

I’ve been feeling quite overwhelmed this whole week and i think i just need to get out and catch a breath this weekend.

For both locals and those who’ve lived in Singapore for a while, where do you go when you need some quiet time or a mental reset?

I’d love to hear your favourite spots, whether it’s somewhere peaceful, scenic, or just somewhere that makes you feel better after a rough week
