How do I feel less trapped?

Hey, I don’t want this to be a long post, so I’ll try and keep it short. I’ve had a handful of mini shifts but that was months ago and the further I move past that the more I question if those were even shifts. The big problem now is when I lay down to shift with any method I always feel very trapped. I’ve been trying to shift for about 2 years now and I just wanted to ask you all for any tips to stay motivated and on how to feel more supernatural if that makes sense. Also, if you have any idea on how to use the 5 senses method in a more vivid way, please lmk because I cannot visualize or imagine at all for some reason.

I like this book so far. Is anyone else reading this as well?

I’m only a few chapters in and I love this book so far. I don’t think I’ve ever been so easily immersed in a book before. I love Misaki. Setsuko is ok but she needs to be nicer towards her mom. Calling her a nut is WILDDDDD. Give that woman a break. She raised 9 kids lol

Rate my schedule as a poli sci+philosophy major

I’m upset about the 9 am class I won’t lie but I’ve heard great things about the professor so I’m sat.
