Any updates on the status of the suspect? Has there been a press conference from the city? Local news sites have not posted since this all started last night with little information.

Prelude to a pardon or to his end?

Driving to London, KY from Lexington to potentially buy a used car from a guy who posted it on Facebook marketplace. Guy wanted $7k cash. Told him I can write a check. So we are meeting at his bank on Friday and then going to the county clerk to transfer the title.

Any advice from someone who has made a transaction like this?
