The case was originally registered by ATS, Gujarat, following the arrest of Dr. Mohiuddin, an MBBS from China, after he was caught at a toll plaza carrying illegal weapons, a bottle containing 04 litres of castor oil and other incriminatory articles in his car in November 2025. Investigation by the ATS had led to the arrest of the other two accused the same day. Azad and Suhel were found to have earlier picked up parcels of money and illegal prohibited weapons from a dead-drop site in Hanumangarh, Rajasthan, and dropped them at a location in Chhatral, Gujarat, for Moinuddin to pick up.

my qualifications:

I just got my 12th result (Maharashtra Board) and I scored around 64.8%. I’m from general category. I tried my best to categorise my questions please help me.

Right now I’m confused between BSc Mathematics and BSc Computer Science. I don’t have strong guidance and I want a realistic comparison and advice.

My current situation:

Weak consistency in studies after 10th

No coding background or CS knowledge

Decent interest in Maths but not very disciplined

Worried about career scope and job security

---

What I understand so far about:

BSc Mathematics:

More theoretical and proof-based

Career usually needs MSc or additional skills

Can lead to analytics, teaching, govt exams with preparation

Less direct job opportunities after graduation

---

BSc Computer Science:

More practical and skill-based

Coding, programming, data structures, etc.

Better direct job opportunities in IT if skills are good

But I have zero coding background right now

---

My confusion:

CS seems better for jobs but I don’t know anything about computers

Maths feels safer academically but less job-oriented alone

I’m afraid of choosing wrong and wasting 3 years

---

What I need help with:

  1. Which one is more realistic for someone starting from zero CS knowledge?

  2. Can someone from BSc Maths still enter tech/data field later?

  3. How hard is it to catch up in CS without 12th CS background?

  4. What would you personally choose in my situation?
