Friends playing a game without me?

I feel so paranoid, but this is genuinely so fishy to me. To start the story, we've been playing terraria recently, and the first day we started the world, and the first few days went smoothly, until a few days ago, I saw everyone online, and asked one of my friends (friend A), that if they were playing; he told me that he was on a single-player world, and that he doesn't know what the others were doing, but when I checked, it says I could join him, and that I required a password (which couldn't happen unless he was in a multiplayer world). So I kind of brushed it off as me just being weirdly paranoid. Next day rolls around, and I see the host (friend B), and another friend (friend C), on terraria, and yet again, it says I can join them, but it requires a password, so I ask the friend, and he also gives me the excuse of "I'm playing my own world", and so at this point, the gears in my brain start turning, and it's practically scream that there is something really suspicious going on. Yet again, fast forward to today, and I see another friend (friend D) in a game, and the host (friend B) is on the game as well, I asked the host if we were going to play the world today, but he says that he is busy and that he wasn't home. Fast forward a few hours, and I see friend C come online and he immediately joins a multiplayer world that requires a password, and when I tried to join friend D, it also said I needed a password, and so now, this is super fishy, so once again, I confront friend C again, and he says he is on a single-player world, but I pointed out how he is on a multiplayer world as well as friend D, and he says that friend D needed something and joined his, and that he has been afk for a while. That's fishy, because he only got on recently, but says the friend D has been sitting at spawn for a while, he says he forgot the password, and tells me I'd be bored in his world because he wasn't doing anything. In all of these incidents, the host has been online as well. Someone please tell me if I'm valid for feeling like this, or need to go to a psych ward.
