Some updates: Good news! Puppet is no longer hostile to me. She’s been hanging out in my office and glaring at the rabbit thing (maybe he’s her killer?). Speaking of which, the rabbit has been meeting with M1 in the shadows and talking with it. Given my luck, they’re probably plotting to kill me.

That endoskeleton has been trying to talk to me, too. I think its voice box is broken or something, but it’s asking for its daughter “Coppelia“, so if anyone knows someone named that, lemme know.

As for Duane, he sounded… unusually serious.

”Jeremy, I’m glad I caught you. We went down to the old CBEAR bunker that Fazbear ditched ages ago, and while we were scavenging, we found a secret entrance to some rooms under the bunker. They were creepy as heck, but that’s not the worst of it.

“We found someone down there. A kid. His name is Rory, and he can’t remember how long he’s been trapped down there. We found a few documents. Someone kidnapped him and freaking experimented on him in these rooms, using some weird technology to make these scary mannequins look like horrific monsters. And it looks like there were other kids, too, but nobody else is here, not even any bodies. I think that whoever was running the experiments killed the kids to cover his tracks.

”I’m gonna keep looking into this. No one gets away with this stuff while I have a say about it. Just check out what we got on the cams.”

Pretty sure the experimenter in question is the rabbit guy.

All right, let’s see… he found most of the Funtimes’ plastic casing, which M1 is now using for herself. He found a bunch of wooden ballerina dolls and a couple small Circus Babies with no actual dresses, which have all been trying to kill me. He found this pink Bonnie hand puppet for an animatronic, which he attached to Phone Guy’s hand (pretty sure that’s who the endoskeleton is). It’s been trying to escape and kill me all night, but Phone Guy is keeping it off of me.

They found a functional security setup down there, so it’s mine now. My cams and audio actually work now. And I think they got a couple tag-alongs. One’s a bulky Freddy Endo who’s being all twitchy and… teleport-y. The other is a Foxy bot who seems to be just an image on the screen. It’s kinda like an annoying popup ad, and I have to type in LOL to get rid of it.

That’s all for today. Hope Duane doesn’t find anything else that will try to kill me.

I’m already sharing a workspace with an endoskeleton that I’m 80% confident is possessed by my old boss, a giant puppet that I know for a fact is haunted by a murdered child, and whatever the heck that rabbit thing is (speaking of which, he got out of the vents and has been leaving me alone for the most part). Duane decided to bring in what I think is the worst yet.

”Hey, man. All right, you know that old company Murray’s Costume Manor that made mascots for Freddy’s? Well, there were some spooky rumors about a crazy endoskeleton named “the Mimic” that would pretend to be different characters and mascots and try to kill people in them. Not sure what happened to it, but guess what we found when we checked the place out?

”The first Mimic! I think it’s called “M1”, and it’s got its own body and everything. And it’s not crazy or a killer, man. We figured we could have it sneak around and jump into different costumes to scare people with. Heck, it even wore those old Toy animatronic parts we found when we gave them to it! It’s practically gonna run half the attraction on its own!”

Preeeeeetty sure my dad would disagree on the “not a killer” part. Wonder what murder machine this guy’s gonna clutter up my workplace with next.

All right, good news! That rabbit thing Duane found has been trying to kill me, and this time he came through one of the vents. Good news is, I installed vent covers on all of them and sealed one vent behind him, so now he’s stuck there glaring at me. Bad news is that the office stinks now.

Anyway, Duane found something else… I’ll just play the call.

”Hey, Jeremy! So we went to that first pizzeria you worked at, the one with all the cute animatronics, and we found a bunch of old casings for them! I think they were called the Toy Animatronics, right? Anyway, guess what else we found?

”The Security Puppet, man! The original one! You remember it, right? Well, somehow, it’s totally intact and in perfect working condition! It walks kinda like a ghost, so we figured we’d have it wandering around in the shadows of the attraction and creeping people out with that mask. And you’ll have a teammate for your security job! Awesome, isn’t it?

”The attraction is really shaping up, man! We’re gonna track down a lead to a really old building, next. And I mean REALLY old, man! All right, see ya!”

Not exactly happy to be sharing a workspace with that thing again. Least there’s no music box to wind up this time.
