Indy diesel shop near Dallas
Hi all! My sister-in-law has a 2013 Jetta TDI that she's been driving trouble free for the last 5+ years. It's got about 150k miles on it and the extended warranty has expired. She recently moved from Ohio to the Dallas area and when she arrived had a check engine light. She took it to a VW dealer and they quoted her $8k+ to replace the DPF as they are saying it's clogged. First, I told her that obviously the dealer was gonna be the most expensive place to fix it. So, just wanted to ask this community if you all have any recs for an Indy shop in the Dallas area! Thanks!

Rear end is back in!
After a lovely fight with the rear shackle bushings. I've got it all bsck together. Everything is just loosely bolted together, still got a few things to do before she's good to go: torque every bolt, reconnect the driveshaft, bleed the brakes, etc. Feels good to get this far, but it'll have to wait as I'm off to the Indy 500!

Bushing out, time to reassemble everything tomorrow!
Pulled the bushings out of the leaf springs today. Original bushings to the car. Without a proper shop or tools made for an adventure, but we succeeded!

Rear-End getting ready to go back in
One step closer to getting the rear-end back in
Got the rear-end back from the shop. Replaced the pinion seal and had them install new flanged axles. Finally had time to clean it up and get it painted. Hopefully getting it back in this weekend. Rear-end out of a '61 Studebaker Hawk
