I get that thereโs a โhen on a nestโ craze but seriously?

Spotted at a vintage store. This one was too beaten up for my liking but itโs something to watch for while hunting.
I donโt buy much manganese, but some pieces just canโt be left behind. Excellent condition, just needs a little clean up ๐งผ
I've passed by quite a few of this style, but finally ran across one for a price I was willing to pay.
#9056 DC from the 1981-1982 general catalog.
No sticker worked in my favor as no one there recognized it as Fenton. The tag was just marked "JK Spindler Basket" ๐
1144 DX from the June 1995 catalog.
Ran across this giant 1930's Garden City Pottery swirl bowl and decided to bring it home. Normally I don't go for pieces this large, but I couldn't resist. Will look great with all of my other orange glazed Fiesta, Red Wing, etc..

80 mile round trip for a Marketplace bargain on this original red ice lip pitcher. Worth it. Excited to add to my display.
Added the Jeanette jadeite one to my group last week so I decided to take a group photo and it got me thinking. Childhood nostalgia for many like me, I suppose, remembering time spent with my mother and grandmother.
My Vitrock shelf got a little bit more crowded this weekend thanks to an auction bargain win ๐
They were a pretty dirty but cleaned up beautifully with no visible defects. The bowl is 10.5โ across and very heavy.
While Iโm not knowledgeable about ceramics like I am glassware, occasionally a deal is too good to pass up. Irish pieces are new to me and I think these are really nice looking but no one was bidding on them so maybe I just have poor taste ๐
The two Ashling are very thin porcelain. The Belleek is heavier.
My wife and I hit some small towns around us yesterday and came home with lots of treasures. This is my side of the pile in the first photo. Everything from a Fenton mouse to an old Bonanza mug that made me nostalgic. I found some really nice bargains. Not all glass but a majority.
Seconds photo is her finds. Not as many pieces but she has more expensive taste lol. All Fenton and that apothecary jar is gorgeous. Cute Burmese elephant also. It was a good day.
Wife and I had a fun Saturday hunting. Lots of good buys, but I couldnโt resist a splurge on this cute Fenton mouse ๐ญ
Sunday night auction win on a single $2 bid. Apparently neither the auction house or anyone watching noticed the Fenton empress rose daffodil vase. The lot was just labeled 'Decrative Glass' ๐
I have a smaller, 3 compartment, one of these in green uranium, but was super excited to run across this piece. 8" across.
We had a fun afternoon wandering a large antique mall and this was her pick. 1997 Fenton dusty rose poppy overlay iridescent basket. I know some folks don't like the idea of picking your own gift, but we have a great time hunting together and she came home happy. Great taste, beautiful piece.
Have to show off this beautiful piece. Picked up this Westmoreland 1048 Argonaut candy dish at a local auction yesterday. Iโve seen them in several colors before, slag, milk glass, iridescent, etc but this one was special. Itโs the first Iโve ever seen with the mother of pearl iridescence and pastel painted shells. Trying to track down details, because it seems so unique. Iโve only found two references online.

My favorite find from yesterday. Love this shade of green.
While on a work trip in Georgia last week, a coworker invited me to see his neighbor's glass collection. I can't even begin to describe how many cool pieces they had. One curio cabinet after another of green ug, vaseline, custard, Burmese etc.. More than I've ever imagined in a private collection. Couldn't resist snapping a photo of this giant to share.
