I built a private family archive site after 15 years of digitizing families' photos and never having a good answer for 'now how do I share this?'

Hi all!

I've been a professional digitizer for almost 15 years helping families collect and preserve their family histories and artifacts. The biggest question I always get is "How do I share this with my family?" — and I've never had a good answer. Flash drives get passed around, things end up on Facebook, but none of it tells a story or stays organized in any meaningful way.

So I built one: https://ourvault.family/ — a private, ad-free archive where families can store photos and videos organized into a timeline by date and event. You can tag uploads with dates and descriptions so everything sorts itself automatically, and you can create private share links for family members who just want to browse without logging in.

I'm opening it up to anyone who wants to try it. Free first month, 50% off for the first year with code FOUNDER50. I'm mostly just trying to cover storage costs while I figure out how people will use this and what they actually need. Happy to answer questions.

Need Help Testing a Website for Organizing and Sharing Archival Media

Hi all! I hope this allowed. I've been a professional digitizer for almost 15 years helping families collect and preserve their family histories and artifacts. However, the biggest question I always get is "How do I share this with my family?" and I've never had a good answer for people. You can pass flash drives around or share to Facebook, but all of those options are cumbersome and lack a focus on telling your family's story.

So, I've created a website https://ourvault.family/ to help people easily store, share, and organize their family memories. All uploads can be tagged with dates and descriptions to automatically sort memories into a timeline by date. You can also create private share links to send to family members so they can view your archive without having to log in.

If you think this would be useful, I'm offering a free one month trial and 50% off for the first year for new users to help me beta test the site. Use code FOUNDER50 at checkout. There are currently no upload/storage limits so long as your account is being used for your family archive.

If you have any questions or feedback, please let me know! https://ourvault.family/ FOUNDER50

The primary focus of the website is on family history, but this could also be used for/by organizations to document their history as well.
