I use to go to Las Vegas from Los Angeles and had AT&T and the service was pretty bad in many of these areas. I am wondering if there is a carrier that will not leave you stranded in these areas.

I live in Downey, California & frequent many areas that include Hollywood, Cerritos, South Gate & other areas, AT&T in particular is bad. Which carrier is better for these areas or Los Angeles as a whole?
