What makes an INTP feel most understood in a relationship?

I (f) have been dating an INTP for a little bit now, while i feel like our communication is great, we still have many differences in what we need and how we show are feelings.

I probably should learn more INTPs in general but i just sometimes feel like im being pushy when they’re not ready to share a thoughts or feeling.

I’m just not good with introverts in general, please help me

(Also, possibly unrelated, if my INTP is not food motivated, what do I do? This is a genuine question, maybe for a diff sub though)

How do I “ghost” a friend? (Kindly)

I (f) recently came to a new high school and made a few close friends at first. Now it’s been around a year, I’ve realized these friends were problematic and decided to branch out more.

Well, one friend (f) will not let me go. A lot of them have tried to guilt trip me into staying, I’ve still been their friend, I’ve just decided to sit with other people some days which is normal for the rest of the school.

This girl has many red flags, and although she seems outwardly nice, it comes off as too nice, fake, and clingy. (On top of many other problems) I don’t enjoy being around fake people but she’s recently decided we’re best friends (even asking me if we are, I didn’t respond) I’ve tried to slowly distance myself (saying I’m busy, not texting first) but it’s not working. She reaches out more, texts more, asks why I won’t respond quick enough.

Anyways, I know being honest with her might be the best option but I don’t want her to completely hate me but she also won’t get the hint, any advice would be super appreciated!!!
