When you verify your levels, do you grind them in frequent short sessions or do you do one really long session to try and verify that level?
As a person with a lot of personal experience in this topic, I would recommend going for one long session, as too much time in between sessions could weaken your consistentcy at the level due to the lack of constant exposure. However, I am also aware that fatigue could set in after trying to verify a level even after just a 1 or 2 hour session, so shorter sessions may be better so you have a chance to relieve that fatigue before continuing to spend time to verify that level. What are your opinions on this and what do you do?
A little more than 4000 plays away from being the first 0.00% clear rate(<0.005% clear rate gets rounded down to 0.00%)
reddit.comI finally verified a level I have been working on after around 10 hours.
This level was excruciating difficult, and I had to have a lot of discipline to not overly nerf the level too much. The level was really difficult because some sections are quite awkward which leads to a lot of deaths. I think that level will probably be the hardest level I have verified on Reddit Honk for a while, maybe forever. This is the frame window counter of the level on 60 FPS so you can understand how hard the level is:
1 Frame: 5
2 Frame: 7
3 Frame: 12
4 Frame: 2
5 Frame: 1
6 Frame: 3
When I call my other levels easy, it is because levels like what I have just verified are the levels I call hard.

An important lesson: When to let go.
When you place an xbow and your opponent plays a troop to defend against it, when should you let it go and when should you spend more elixir to defend it?
In general, x bows are played for 2 reasons. The main reason is an attempt to get tower damage.
However, in higher level play, it may also be used to force out a response in order to ensure that opponents will not be able to spend all their elixir on one lane.
When x bows are played to force out a response, you should usually let it go and focus on defending the push. However, if the response is troops that are weaker, then you may consider spending more elixir to defend your x bow so it still remains as a threat that your opponent will still have to commit more elixir to.
When x bows are played to get tower damage, you should consider 2 things:
1: Whether you are not behind on too much damage so you can win by spell cycling
2: What troops/buildings/spells the opponent can play to counter your x bow.
Especially during 3x elixir, you should utilize spells like tornado and rocket well in order to get troops so your x bow gets on the tower because they will likely have enough elixir to keep defending your x bow otherwise. In addition, you also get a clip-worthy game if you get something like a tornado prediction on your opponent's troops. If the troops the opponent has are all around rocket hp range, then you can attempt to rocket+tornado everything in to get your x bow on the tower.
You should let go of the x bow if you think that you should go for a rocket on their tower. You should tornado in order to pull things back to buy more time for your cards to chip away at your opponent's troops and to prevent a win condition from hitting your x bow.
If the opponent has a hard counter to your x bow like monk, then you will mainly be able to win with tornado predictions.
If you are ahead on elixir, then you should keep up the pressure and potentially set up a second x bow on the other lane to get a x bow lock on at least one lane.
If your opponent is ahead on elixir and you get a connection, then just let it go unless you are ABSOLUTELY CONFIDENT THAT DEFENDING THE X BOW WILL ALLOW YOU TO TAKE THEIR TOWER, because if not, you will probably lose once the opponent makes their push after defending your x bow.
