Hey all, don’t see any longform videos on Reddit, but would love some feedback on my overall thought process here. Not sure if I’m thinking about this in the right order or in the right way, but would love to get this thing on the road and looking good as fast as possible.

Should we take a wager on how much this is gonna cost $3k, $5k, $10k, $…k?

P.S. I’m still learning all the parts and terms etc! Feel free to correct me! It’s welcomed

Wasn’t sure how bad this rust was until I took the tape off, looks like an old project that has since gone bad. Would it be easier just to buy a new roof and patch the cab, or buy a new cab back and patch the roof. Or just Bondo it all and pray. Has to be all the way down to the pinch weld, won’t know until the window comes out.

I’m actually being serious, can someone please suggest something 🫠

Very excited to start my first project, picking this baby up this week! Cab rust on the top of the rear window, and a little bit on the kick plate. Newer engine and a rebuilt transmission with papers.

I can’t wait to learn from this community, let’s roll!
