Did the G6 Pro Bullet (UVC-G6-Pro-Bullet-B) essentially replace the AI Pro (UVC-AI-Pro)? The AI Pro only can only be found using a search for it in the UI store. I currently have an AI Pro at our Smoky Mountain rental cabin and was looking for another to replace a Reolink cellular camera we used during construction.
Based on some great advice I got here on the VORONDesign subreddit, I upgraded from the original Afterburner toolhead to an A4T with an Orbiter 2.5 extruder, a Revo Voron hotend, a Nitehawk‑36 toolhead board, and a Cartographer V3 eddy‑current probe. I bought everything — including the printed parts — from KB3D. They’re an Ohio company, and Kris B was a huge help and incredibly patient with all of my stupid questions.
I could have just bought a Bambu Labs printer, plugged it in, and hit “print.” But I’d already started down the open‑source path, and I still like the challenge and reward of building something complex (for me) that I have full control over. The idea that I could end up with better print quality overall still mattered to me. So instead of giving up, I decided to bring this machine back to life.

My "want" in that post was for a bulletproof, consistent printer. I completed tunning yesterday, and have only just started to print real parts - some A4T spare parts and some 2.4 broken parts. I am so far ahead of where I was at when I started this journey in December of 2021. I have confidence that my goals have been achieved.
There were many response to that post and plenty of consensus, so thanks to everyone that responded. I would especially like the thank u/Select-Substance-996 for the detailed responses and solid advice.

My wife and I are making our bucket list vacation to Yellowstone and the Grand Tetons this fall. Included in that is seeing GAI at Red Rocks with the Colorado Symphony - another buck list item. I'm curious if the he only plays the music from his symphony album, or will there be additional music. This will be our third time seeing him - prior performances were Nashville and Ann Arbor.
I built a 350×350×350 Formbot Voron 2.4 about 4 years ago, messed with it for four months, and then completely gave up on it. First layers were a nightmare, Z‑offset drifted constantly, and I felt like I spent more time babysitting it than printing. It sucked the life out of me and the printer has been sitting untouched ever since. At times, it printed really well and just when I was confident I had things working great, I would get a catastrophic failure.
Now I want to rebuild it properly with modern parts and make it bulletproof.
Since the printer does not currently print, I need to purchase the printed parts for Stealthburner, and potentially other miscellaneous parts.
I should also add that this was my very first printer, so I am an old Noob, and felt like I was drinking from a fire hose. So lots to relearn and plenty of dumb questions pending.
My goal is a rock‑solid, low‑maintenance Voron with consistent first layers and zero babysitting. Any guidance from people who’ve rebuilt older Formbot kits or gone full CNC would be hugely appreciated.
