I never see anyone here talking about Swords2/that whole group, yet this guy pumps out music more than anyone else I listen to. I been listening for around a year now and he's dropped like 5 solidly good projects during this time, its crazy. Like I follow him on insta and tired to message him but he left me on read lol. The only time I've seen a lot of people talk about him was when he had the song with smokedope2016, and that was all people hating. Granted I'll admit, the music is uh, an acquired taste, but I cant stop listening lol.

Just kinda realized this today, most people (who have heard of GBC) just think of lil peep and that whole aesthetic, like you see it in that MGK lyric that got posted the other day, the recent sigil kult channel 5 documentary where they said they were "gothboiclique revival esq". most people think of people like that when they hear GBC.
Its weird to me cause like, when think of GBC, i think of like, wicca and doves, who's entire aesthetic and "music environment" is quite different. like wiccas last album was country lol.
It does make me wonder how others see me when I walk around wearing a shirt that says "GothBoiClique", I'm seeing myself as the esoteric, stoic, and cultured wicca phase fan (\s), and they just see me as some cringe emo peep fan(rightfully so).

like as a kid i never drew pictures or wrote stories or anything. didn't even imagine much stuff. most creative stuff i do is like playing factory games and making maximally optimized blueprints and stuff. kinda makes me laugh when i see people talk about "creativity is what makes us human" or smth, i just wanna consume and optimize resources

Hey, hope this ain't against the rules, but I cannot for the life of me find Web Novel fan translations of Jobless Oblige and Old Dragon's Tale, or the last two chapters of Redundancy not covered so far by the light novels. All I've found on google are other people asking on Reddit three years ago, and all the links in the comments are dead. Is there like a master directory of all the chapters, or have they not been translated or something?

I be at some of these shows wondering how these kids so tapped in. I'm seeing 15 year olds wearing the full standard alt 2000s emo fit, multiple piercings and everything. Man when I was 15 I was fat asf stayed at home playing video games and watching anime all day. Think my top artist was fallout boy lol. Granted this was during covid so not like we could do shit but yeah lol. Bit disheartening to see ppl with vastly better fits than me tho. I be wearing blue jeans and an artist t-shirt. Pretty funny overhearing these kids complaining about "my world history test tomorrow" and I'm in grad school lol. Anyone else got similar experiences?
