Completed the ladders for my platformer-prototype (Made with MonoGame)

These tiles with ladders on it (Standing up from the ladder when reaching the top or climbing down when standing on the block) had been quite tricky, but now all works fine.

Robert, you're my favourite Ripperdoc!

Kabuki area is my favourite and Robert's definitely my favourite ripperdoc with lots of cool gear. Who's your favourite ripperdoc?

Finally being able to precalc SpriteFont-data for my own handdrawn non-monospaced fonts

NOTE: Result is first image, the weird example-code is in the second image (Separated into two columns).

I actually had a crappy static-class for handling non-monospaced fonts, but I always wanted to use the integrated SpriteFont class to make things easier. This afternoon I finally took the time and put together a minimal test-parser that scans my handdrawn fonts.

Of course that won't be done *inside* the game (object generation...), I will only precalc and store the metrics (glyphBounds, cropping, characterRange and kerning) as json and load them in LoadContent and that's it...

Of course will be automatet, so If the corresponding file or data for a given texture is not available, I'll let it scan it and save the missing data to the sourcecode-folder and with the next start everything comes from disk.

Doesn't handle multiple lines yet - Would need to increase the y-position with the fontHeight when reaching the texture's width. And the data for char(32) was just any non-used pixel. Was just happy that it works and thought I'd share the example =)

P.S.: Of course only works if the drawn characters don't overlap, so there must be a single pixel horizontal spacing in the texture.

My new updated Animation Preview Tool using ImGui and MonoGame

Probably an inspiration for someone out there, having some old WinForms-based tools laying around:

I'm always using a preview-tool for pixel-animations with a FileWatcher which immediately mirrors changes made in Gimp to the running animation. My old tool was Windows Forms based, so it was about time to update it. Now it's based on MonoGame and ImGui, so it's cross-platform and works on Mac and Linux, too.
