So I have the 2 Dominion of Blades audiobooks purchased, but I haven't started them yet. I've been hesitant because I don't want to be stuck in sequel purgatory. I found an old post, about 3 years old, where Matt said that it will be 2 more books and he won't be able to complete it until he can give it his full focus, so presumably not until he finishes DCC. So I have 2 questions.

1. Does anyone know if Matt still intends to finish these and will it be a top priority once DCC wraps?

2. How satisfying is the ending of Book 2? Like how cliffhangery is it? For reference, I like how the DCC books each wrap up. The storylines for the floor all wrap up and even though He drops bombs about what's to come and makes me excited for the next book, it's never anything where Carl and Donut are in the middle of immediate danger.

...is some actress from Iceland that I've never heard of.

We've all seen the arguments for why it should be animated, but I think it's time that everyone accepts that we are getting live action and maybe have a post with all the reasons it would be live action is actually the better choice.

If you want to continue to argue why animation would be better, go find one of the thousand posts I've seen about it over the past year or however long it's been since they've said it was going to be live action and post there or start a "new" one. This post is meant to be a place of positivity and hopefully reassurance for what we are getting.
