GY Shift Na WFH

Curious questions lang:

  1. How long have you been working in GY shift and anong oras?

  2. Ano ang routine nyo? Meal time etc.

  3. Do you think until retirement nyo na yung current job nyo?

TY!!

Failed Final Interviews

😵😵😵 I have 1 more na hindi na ako nabalikan, so I guess total of 5 talaga. All of these final interviews went well, and halos walang hint na I didnt pass!! kaya nakaka ano talaga, gusto kong manuntok char.

Gusto ko lang magvent. Napapaisip ako if qualified ba talaga ako, and if my experiences were even valid for this position. 🥲

I just keep telling myself na kumapit lang and keep moving forward. Hindi naman ako nawawalan ng pagasa pero there will be days lang talaga na nakakadown... and today is one of those days 😭

Job Market is Soooo Tough

Like if your answer is just right and acceptable but not the exact answer they are looking for, ligwak ka na. 🫥

For those who are like me, na actively looking, I hope we find the right job and companies for us. 🙏

Random Thoughts as a Trentahin in the Workforce

As someone born in the early 90s, isa ako sa mga nakaexperience ng significant tech advancement in life. Like dati wala namang cellphone, tapos biglang nagkaroon, wala namang internet, tpos biglang nagkaroon..

So we also experienced yung challenge of teaching the elderly, our parents and grandparents, kung paano gumamit ng technology - cellphone, computers etc.

Now na tayo naman yung mid 30s na now, technology keeps on evolving rapidly. Naisip ko parang nagsstart na ako to be like the elderly na nalolost na sa new tech! I mean, AI and all... I somehow know how to use it naman pero as compared to the younger generations, nakakapressure din to keep up pagdating sa tech. Especially na nasa workforce pa rin ako, that I need to remain competitive and relevant.

May iba ba nakakaramdam nito? 🙃

No More Sunday Anxiety

I just submitted my resignation 2 weeks ago and since then, hindi na ako nagkakaroon ng Sunday night anxiety. I no longer dread Mondays. I'm just letting each day pass and still do my job as usual.

Mas gumaan na ang pakiramdam ko. Minsan kabado pa rin pag internal meetings but not as kabado as before. I feel like, hindi na sila magwewaste ng energy to scrutinize everything I say. hahaha! Tama nga ata talaga decision ko to leave.

May we all have peace in our hearts! ♥️

Question lang. Bakit yung mga IT projects (not all siguro), pati weekends ino-OT pag may delay sa projects. I mean it's not like we're saving lives?? Di ba pwede ituloy ng Monday. I mean I get it pag deployments that need to happen off business hrs like nights or weekends.. pero yung ibang work naman baka pwede Lunes? I know it happens kasi may pressure from the top... pero bakit nga ganon kayong mga nasa top?? hahaha emz

I'm wondering if sa ibang bansa ganto rin ba or dito lang dahil napaka people pleaser ng mga Pilipino. hahaha lol

I am actively seeking a job, and ang dami ko nakikita na job opportunities ngayon.

Naranasan nyo na ba yung sa previous jobs nyo you were a high performer. Alam mo magaling ka and kaya mo magadapt sa work. Then sa new work mo, nacall out ka 1 time, publicly humiliated for a mistake, when you were just 2-3mos in the company. Kasi everytime na may itatanong sayo or hihingiin sayo, you start second guessing everything you do na kasi natatakot kang magkamali ulit at mapahiya ulit.

Have you ever felt that? Hindi ko alam kung ako yung may problema, or this is a response of my brain sa culture na meron sa company. Ewan ko na. I just want out.
