Eclips

***English below

Are there any people who are interested/planning to watch the eclips tonight? I'm planning to take my telescope (with solarfilter) and bring it to the nieuwe herdgang overlook to watch it, but good company is definitely welcome.

Unfortunately by solarglasses werent delivered on time, so you would have to arrange one yourself.

I'm a 29yo guy, but I dont care if your M/F/X or what age you are, as long as you're good company.

Let me know if you're interested and we can plan something!

Meaningful Relationships

So I, 29M, am probably autistic. I've kinda been joking about it for most of my life, but lately I've been seeing a therapist and basically I'm showing signs of AuDHD. I haven't been officially tested, and am still debating whether I would want the "label", but that's an entirely different discussion.

Anyways, my therapist advised me to look into different experiences, so here I am.

One of the reasons I'm seeing a therapist is because I'm coping with loneliness issues. It's kinda contradicting, but I'm a very social person. I can make small talk easily, go on speed-dating events (both romantic and platonic oriented) and I work in the events business where we sometimes host events for 200+ people and I feel comfortable.

So it's not so much a problem of getting to know people, it's what comes after that. I'm having trouble with making a meaningful relationship.

Now to make things clear, it doesn't have to be a relationship in the romantic sense. Basically, I tend to get bored with people if I'm missing a certain sense of connection. The "problem" is that if that connection isn't there straight away, for me it feels like it will never come and then I tend to kinda let it bleed out. It's a kinda all or nothing situation. I've had this on multiple occasions, where I've met someone and we could chat about all kinds of things but I just wasn't feeling it, so after the meet up we would kinda just not talk anymore.

And it's not like I don't try. I've had a few occasions where I met someone, we would have fun conversations and I would kinda give it the benefit of the doubt (there was a certain interest, just not a lot) but then after talking a little longer it would still kinda die out.

Also, sidenote, I do have a couple of good friends, but I can't really tell why I didn't have this feeling with them, but I do have it with other people.

So basically, my question is if any of this sounds relatable to any of you. Do any of you have experience in this and how do you cope with it? Is there anything you can do/say/think that kinda changes this perspective or at least helps in building that connection? Any advice is welcome.

Also, sorry about the length of the post. I have a kind of tendency to add all kinds of details that I feel relevant for the story. I've been told before that my stories are kinda long-winded, so my apologies if it's a long read. Also, I'm not a native English speaker and I'm writing this at 6AM on my mobile phone, so apologies for any grammar/spelling/formatting mistakes
