Odd ridge by pacemaker incision?

Hi! Yesterday, I noticed a new ridge across my pacemaker incision. Surgery was two months ago and until now, everything has been going well. If I lightly touch the ridge, it feels like there is a cord underneath that can shift a bit. That wouldn’t bother me much, but it’s been accompanied by a new burning sensation in my pec muscle. I have reached out to my dr and am waiting to hear back, but I wonder if anyone else has experienced this? Thank you so much!

Relocating to MD

Hi! My family are relocating to MD in two months so my spouse can take a job in DC. I’d be grateful for some feedback on what towns to consider.

Here is our situation:
* Spouse needs to commute into a DC office on Pennsylvania Ave five days a week and would prefer transit. He’s open to trains, buses, etc. We will have a car he can use for park and ride, if needed.
* Want to rent for the first year. Would prefer a house, duplex or townhome. Very much want at least a tiny fenced yard given we have a dog and I garden.
* Hoping to stay under $3,500 a month for a 3/2.
* I’m disabled with mobility limitations so proximity to transit or a neighborhood with nearby grocery, coffee shop, library, etc would be a huge plus.

Can anyone suggest some towns to start looking at? I really appreciate it! We are exciting about making MD our new home.

Dishwasher blinking and beeping

Hi! We have a 4 years old KitchenAid dishwasher, model KDTE204KPS1. It’s running normally and cleaning well, except while operating the lights randomly flash and it’s beeping. It also will sometimes randomly do this while not running.

Here’s what we’ve tried:
* Turning off the unit at the breaker, leaving it off for an hour, and turning it back on.
* Putting it in diagnostic mode and seeing if it gives us a code. It did not. No beeping and no blinking then.
* Ran a clean cycle, cleaned the door flanges, cleaned the filter, double checked the unit is level.

Does anyone have any suggestions? We are hoping to stop the crazy annoyance without spending a ton. Thank you!

Abbott Assurity MRI PM questions

Hi. I recently had an Abbot Assurity MRI pacemaker (model PM2272) implanted for bradycardia with syncope and sick sinus syndrome. Does anyone know if it alerts with an audible tone or vibration? Im seeing conflicting info online. Also, I understand that it’s magnetically shielded, but should I still be cautious about magnets like MagSafe iPhone accessories near the implantation site? Thanks!

Corset recommendation?

Hi, all! I have been wearing an orchard corset in style CS-426 (hourglass curve) in size 26 for about a year. Fit has been reasonably good, although I feel like I could use more room in the hips. I would like to purchase a second corset and am looking at Orchard, Mystic City and Timeless. I’m open to other brands under $200 as well.

I’m very pear shaped, which seems to make fitting harder. Here are my measurements:

Underbust: 32.5”
Waist: 31.5”
Upper hip: 42”
Lower hip: 44”
Underbust to lap length: 11”

I’m not wanting a large waist reduction as it worsens GI issues when I go much past 28”. I wear a corset for back pain and stability as I’m hypermobile.

I’d be grateful for any suggestions!! Thank you!
