Phalar Aluve VS. Dual shadow blade? Help me decide!!!

Hi!

My Gale has been climaxing his way through the game as a Bladesinger wizard with Phalar Aluve and I'm loving it so far!

There's just one problem...I just got the ring of shadow blade from Arabella and I thought (huh.... Double shadow blade???)

So now I'm conflicted between wielding 2 shadow blades (the one from the ring is capped as a lvl2 spell (2d8 damage) but I'll upscale the one on the main hand), which makes Gale nuclear bomb, and keep using Phalar Aluve with deals much less damage but thematically it's awesome... It's literally a singing blade!!

I can't decide between maxing damage or honoring the theme..

So help me decide pls!!

Does having an empty off-hand give any advantages?

Hi, everyone!

So, I'm doing a "Captain Jack Sparrow" build, where I go Swashbuckler rogue with rapiers. I want to JUST use a rapier and nothing on the off-hand (because looks cool) but so far, I can only find advantages on using a shield (not just for AC but for the effects of some shields).

My question: Is there any way that I can have some advantage in Just having a rapier and nothing else?

Pure stars druid or multiclass with Light Cleric?

Hi guys!

Help me make up my mind please... I can't decide whether to build a pure stars druid, assuming a Jack of all trades build or to multiclass it with light Cleric, which should be more Frontline focused...

I know one of the "standard" multiclasses is 10 cleric / 2 druid but I'm having such a fun time with moonbeam (I'm lvl5 so far)! I'm also not looking for the most meta, op and min-maxed build, I just want the most fun!

So, you guys vote for maintaining druid or mixing it up?

Help with Duellist Build?

Hi everyone!

I want to create a new character that is a agile duellist. Someone with a silver tongue, uses rapiers and nothing else and evades attacks left and right. I already have an idea of the gear, but I'm not sure which path to take... I think Swashbuckler Rogue, Hexblade Warlock, Swords Bard and Bladesinging Wizard are all good pretenders for the build. There are also a few dips, like 2 fighter.

What do you think would be the most fun build (solo or multiclass) to try that has this flavour?

Question about titanstring bow

So I have 21 STR and 18 DEX, so the titanstring bow damage indicators should be 1d8 + 5(STR) +4 (DEX), right? Or am I missing something? The toolbar doesn't show dex modifier and the damage when I fight doesn't seem that high...

Edit: I checked the combat log and I am indeed dealing the full damage! Didn't know the tooltips were so inaccurate 🥲 thanks a lot!

Question about Charm of Raining Arrows

I have a question about the Charm of Raining Arrows.

It says the hankyu auto-aims, arrow damage is increased but headshots are disabled, but this "headshots disabled" applies also if I use the long bow? If it does, the Charm kinda sucks, because the longbow is perfect with headshots...
