Basically the title, Ravindra Jadeja has been a very crucial part of Indian test team for over a decade. Once he retires, who do you think have the potential to do the same job for the team. Especially in SENA countries, his record has been exceptional. There is no doubt that he's one of the greatest all rounder that India has ever produced.

Ashwin said this in his podcast that Padikkal was to be given preference in the test team contention but Sai Sudarshan was chosen because of his amazing ipl season. Do you guys also believe that it is quite unfair to select a player in test team purely on the basis of ipl performance? Players are giving their best in domestic cricket in the hope to get selected in the Indian test team and selectors are giving chances to players based on their ipl performance. What do you guys think?
