Subwoofer wattage Z3 Coupe
Does anyone here have any knowledge about the highest wattage sub i can use when making and installing my own subwoofer box in the trunk of the car. I’m looking at buying a 600w unit, can i safely do that without upgrading the stock alternator?

SUBWOOFER AND AMP RECOMMENDATIONS FOR MY CAR
Hi, I own a Z3 coupe with an 80 amp alternator that I’m thinking about replacing with an 120 amp and was wondering about the max wattage I could run on my current setup vs a new 120 amp alternator? And what type of subwoofer and amp setup I should look into? (I want to be able to have pretty deep bass but also a clear sound when i want to)
PS I’m pretty new to car audio so feel free to correct me if there’s anything I’m incorrect about
