Well to be exact my lovely partner got for me🥰. I was influenced by worldly-resource4961. I had to sniff it and I loved it immediately on paper so had a little spritz and went for lunch during which my partner commented on it and that’s when I knew I had to have it (he never comments on my fragrance!!) He got it for me because it it’s our 7 year anniversary in a couple of weeks, Whilst at the Guerlain concession at John Lewis I sniffed cuir intense and it blew my mind!! I was very good and didn’t get it but after looking online I found it at a really good price on the Esentual website so it may have fallen into my basket.

Anyone who has been here long enough knows I’m the Diptyque Queen. Now here’s the proof😀 I have been collecting Diptyque fragrances for around 4 years & apart from DoSon 🤑 I have loved every single one that I have sniffed. I have 10ml decants of Olene, Philosykos EDP and Ilio that will be upgraded at some point and apart from Opsis which is their Harrods exclusive (on my Christmas wishlist) I think I have everything I want - for now 🤣

So I’ve been in Liverpool for a few days getting my new home ready for my big move from South to North on a few weeks. Had to pop into the city to get some bits and ended picking up these lovely cheapies

Elizabeth Arden Green tea pistachio crunch - I didn’t own a single EA fragrance a few weeks ago but since trying Green Tea I’m slightly obsessed I have the OG, Strawberry & Basil and now Pistacho crunch The notes are
Green tea
Bergamot
Pistachio
Vanilla
Musk
Unlike the original Green Tea, which is sparkling and citrus-heavy, this adds a creamy, nutty gourmand twist. The pistachio isn’t dense or syrupy—it feels lightly roasted and airy. Green tea keeps everything fresh, while vanilla smooths the composition into something comforting.

The White company Eau de Toilette EDIT - I love the clothes in the white company (only buy in the sales) so had to pop in for a rummage through the Alex rails. I found this discovery set with 3 10ml fragrances for £40

Portofino starts with aromatic orange leaf rather than juicy orange, giving it a greener, more refined citrus opening. The sea salt creates an airy coastal freshness, while leather and oakmoss bring warmth and sophistication.
It’s less “beach holiday” and more “luxury yacht at sunset.”

I’m not usually a fan of Lemon in fragrance they tend to smell like toilet cleaner to me. But this opens with bright, juicy lemon that’s natural rather than cleaning-product sharp. The citrus gradually melts into delicate neroli and jasmine before drying down to smooth cedarwood. It’s sunny, airy and uplifting.

Santal Rosa has notes
Tuberose
Iris
Cashmeran
Again I’m not a fan of Tuberose anyone that knows me know I’m the biggest Diptyque fan out there but I can’t stand DoSon which is their tuberose fragrance. But The tuberose isn’t loud or tropical—it feels creamy and velvety rather than heady. Iris adds a soft, powdery quality, while jasmine brings gentle luminosity. The Cashmeran makes it feel smooth and comforting.

So today is my birthday and unfortunately I’m in work. 😔

My lovely partner has spoilt me rotten as usual.

u/Worldly-Resource4961 mentioned the other day that she was wearing this as their scent of the day. It wasn’t ever on my radar even though I have the original Green Tea & Green Tea Strawberry & Basil.

I think that I have similar taste to them and once I looked up the notes, I knew I had to try it!!

It has just arrived and it is sooo good:

It has notes of citrus, florals, ginger, woods & musk.

This is going to be such an easy reach during the summer.

I’ve got my nose on DIptyque Opsis (Harrods exclusive) wow what an absolutely gorgeous fragrance.
It blends Iris, frankincense, bergamot, & musk.
It opens with a sparkling bergamot that lasts around 15mins. It then becomes powdery from the iris but not lipstick powdery. Instead it’s soft. The musky dry down is elegant and Sophisticated with a subtle hint of frankincense. This a perfect autumn winter scent and I’ll definitely be putting this on my winter wishlist.

I’ve been to Amsterdam this weekend and had some spare time at the airport. I was looking for BDK or Diptyque but neither were available but when the sales associate found out I was a Diptyque fan she suggested that I tried this house.

All I can say is wow. This house is totally my vibe!! Elegant understated French house. I must have sniffed every fragrance they had and came away with 2 discovery sets. The presentation is so beautiful. You even get a leather pouch that holds 4 ml travel sizes with one of them.

I thought the price point was good €70 (around £60) for the 6 x 5mls & €90 (around £77) for the 3 10ml. I’m not sure how much the full bottles are.

The only downside for me is that the 5mls are dabblers and I struggle with these :-(

So my no buy is going brilliantly 😉!! To be fair it was bought with an unexpected little windfall & I had some Selfridges vouchers.

Lunamaris is my favourite fragrance from the Diptyque L’essence range. I don’t hear it talked about enough. Lilyphea seems to get all the love (it’s very nice but I’m not a fan) but in my opinion this is far superior. There are only 3 notes listed Pink pepper Frankincense & Labdanum. But it smells much more complex and it has amazing longevity. I haven’t stopped smelling my hand since spraying in store this afternoon.

To me it is a spicy resinous scent that drys down into something musky and a little bit soapy. This is going to be a longstanding daily driver in my collection from now on!!!

I decided on this beautiful bank holiday Monday to reorganise my fragrance collection. A quick trip to The Range for some new trays and I’m a happy girl but it has highlighted that I might have a problem when comes to a particular house 😉🤭!!! I do like that they have their own tray now though. The bag is full of samples & travel sizes! Let’s see everyone else’s collections!!

So this morning I went to town to have a sniff of Diptyque Tam Dao EDP - I have the EDT but it’s nearly finished and I wanted to see what the EDP was like- I loved it and will be getting a bottle when the EDT is finished.

But whilst in town my wonderful partner told me that I could get the fragrance as he had had a bonus from work so i took myself to John Lewis armed with his credit card fully intending to get Tam Dao EDP but the SA (who knows me very well) sprayed Tempo for another customer and OMG IT WAS stunning, so I now have a new bottle of Tempo and2 samples of Tam Dao EDP a sample of l’ombre dans eau EDP (I have the EDT but this might be an upgrade in the future aswell) and the gorgeous new Cafe candle (highly recommend)! I am the Diptyque queen 🤭
