Menace on 4 paws

Menace on 4 paws

I recently got this baby and he's already my whole world. He's 75% Newf and 25% Pyrenees. He sleeps most of the day which is awesome because i can work during those times, but when he's awake GOD DAMN he's mouthy and excited. I know its normal for puppies, but sometimes he does get overly excited and starts biting everything and peeing every 20 minutes because he's running everywhere.

Was yours like this too? How did you manage and did it ever slow down a little bit ?

We go on sniff walks in the forest behind our house, play with his favorite toys, enforced naps when he's crazy from tiredness, time out when he bites too hard. He always comes back even CRAZIER

Love him to death tho

Pyrenees mix Newfoundland

Hi ! I adopted this baby boy and he's been the sweetest, calmest, most cuddly puppy i've ever had and I couldn't be happier. Not a single accident in the house yet ! He's absolutely amazing. Tho, He's not accepting any treat of any sort, even straight chicken. He only wants his kibbles, and I know its not because he doesn't like it because i sneaked some in his food today and he ate it. Is this a routine thing? I know Pyrs love their routine, so i wonder if it's because its not familiar to him yet. Any clue ?

Also, how was your puppy Pyr or Newf in his/her teens ? 🫣

Hi ! I need help calculating my deficit. For context, i'm 22f, 5'7", 191 lbs. Different calculators give me different results, so I'm confused and overwhelmed on what the best option is. Some say 1800, some say 1500 and other says 1200 calories a day.

I work from home at a desk, i walk 30 to 45 minutes a day on a walking pad with 9% incline. I'm currently using the 1200 calories a day deficit (i know its aggressive and should be short term) but i don't feel hungry or tired and i haven't seen any changes in weight or measurements yet (2 weeks).

I'm aware that maybe its the aggressive cut just backfiring on me and my body being in stress mode. Should i up it to 1500? I don't know i'm so lost !!!

Help 🙃
