Oh yah shii got me tight

XG27AQWMG gen 2 Three hours of usage latest firmware, one pixel Cleaning 25% brightness in all dark room honestly not as bad irl compared to the photo. What do we think? Do i return this? but if I don't, I'll probably daily drive this at 75% brightness(last photo). and to my eyes irl it's like a 50% improvement compared to 25% brightness . it's my first oled and I gotta say it looks pretty good. That being said I come from a TN panel sooo
Now I'm gonna play some Batman to see if it's noticeable in game. Let me know if you guys wanna update.

*UPDATE*

I’m now 15 hours deep into Batman, and I have to say that the gray banding is a non-issue for me in gaming, web surfing, and video watching. However, I do have to say that with my unit, which is from the January batch, it is still noticeable even at 80% brightness with Dark Mode enabled in Windows when opening something like File Explorer, for example. That being said, when I say it’s noticeable, I mean I have to physically sit closer to my monitor and actively look for it; otherwise, it’s essentially unnoticeable.

But I think, in this case, the pros outweigh the cons. The colours of this panel, the amazing HDR, and the inky blacks are something I’ve never experienced compared to any TN or IPS panels I have used. This ultimately leads me to the conclusion that I will keep this panel and not return it, because it really does not bother me that much and is barely noticeable during normal use.

Hopefully, this helped just a little to guide your decision if you’re thinking about picking up your first OLED or considering this panel yourself.
