I personally thought that somebody as big as KreekCraft playing MCSM-1 was epic, atleast the new generation of kids finally know where the characters from their favorite ROBLOX games come from.

Hope he continues streaming this game in the future, and also spark a new wave of discussions about the storyline, characters or game in general.

To make things short, I hace 97.8%ile and im expecting a merit rank of 9000. Im aware i can get specialised branches at main campus but my main goal really isnt placements but prep for GATE (after 4th year exit) and further in academia.

Would it be wise to choose marathwada campus over a niche field at ict mumbai? Also i dont think ill be sitting in spots due to how risky it can get at times, so lets throw that out of the equation. Location and city life is not going to be an issue as I have already discussed with seniors at jalna campus.

VIT Vellore, VIT Chennai hogaya, VIT Bhopal ho gaya and following the legacy yaha VIT Pune aur VIT Mumbai ban gaya (Vishwakumar and Vidhyalankar) aur bhi VIT h mh m jese vidarbha institute of technology. As if VIT-P wasn't enough VIIT bhi bana diya.

is this a way to garner attention or smth? like VIT ka naam lekr would people be quick to assume ki youre from THE VELLORE institute of technology? (no doubt VIT-P bhi acchha h rather id say indirectly should become the next official "Vellore"IT)

If CET-Cell decided to follow JEE/NTA's footsteps, then why didn't they release the number of unique candidates just like how NTA does to avoid all this confusion and panic? the 4.54L and 2.9L figures are completely redundant especially if youre not aware about the number of ACTUAL unique students who actually sat in any one or both of the attempts this year.

Doing this will prevent such mishap from happening especially to 27,28,29tards and so on... and they'll be able to make informed decisions without having to worry about rank inflations and all the bs that we're worried about.

Just to make things clear, I fell short by a couple of marks this year and will be joining a tier-2 clg instead.

But with that aside, after the results were declared today I decided to visit this subreddit to see what was happening and what I saw genuinely frustrated me. On some posts I saw JEEtards and NEETards that dropped their JEE/NEET & IAT marks and asked people advice about what to pursue, in there i saw A LOT of people misguiding people into choosing the wrong career path.

I'm talking about people telling a NEETard to choose IISER-Bpr at 1.4k (bpr is great but come on, at that rank?) Or people telling a burnt out JEEtard to take a drop at 4-5k~ rank despite getting an IISER. I also saw somebody fear mongering about IISER-Bho like why? I know, a lot of you guys, even I was passionate about science from early on and seeing all of this competition hurts. But come on, what makes a JEEtard or NEETard incompetent compared to an IATard? These guys scored the same marks as you despite having only studied 3 subjects in the past 2 years.

And I DO NOT want to hear about engineering aspirants NOT having a scientific aptitude. Majority of them are NOT looking after placements, having spoken to seniors. those people who did make it may have already cleared mains or advanced and end up choosing NITs and IITs anyways, there's a reason why the cutoff dipped to 8-9k last year and this year might drop to 6-7k despite having only what 3000 seats? (Incl IIEST and IACS). These guys spent months solving advanced illustrations and developing problem solving skills. If you think sciences don't require this them I'm sorry you're studying science you're just day dreaming. Same applies to NEETards too. The posts you've seen about people asking for placements? Good chance that they didn't even make it.

Here's to all of those who did make it, PLEASE contact your seniors and seek advice from them. And to those who did exactly what I mentioned, be hopeful, my prayers are with you. I'm praying for you guys but please DO NOT misguide people 🥲

seniors, mujhe hate mat karna please 😭 🙏 WCE is great but i wanted to go into other specialized branches like materials sciences (kyunki interest h, plus NIT target kar rha tha) jo ki nhi ho paaya kyuki jee theek nhi gaya. I am getting civil 100% fs, and usme bhi interest h but i just wanted to ask the environment there, schedule wgera kese rahega and more importantly are there pgs nearby? is taking hostel compulsory (if i decide to take a partial drop). first 6 months m academic burden rahega?
