Is the Grand Master in Nemesis Dreadknight Grey Knights’ best anti-tank unit?

Is the Grand Master in Nemesis Dreadknight Grey Knights’ best anti-tank unit?

In this unit breakdown, I look at what the GMNDK actually brings to the table, how to use it properly, the best loadout, when to commit it, and why throwing the baby carrier forward turn one is usually a very expensive mistake 🤣

Big hammer. Big guns. Big pressure.

Would love to hear what people think. Is the GMNDK still one of our best tools into big targets, or are you looking elsewhere for anti-tank?

Are Grey Knights finally back in 11th Edition?

The Grey Knights faction focus has landed and I’ve just put a new video up breaking it all down on Warpbane Tactics.

Teleporting still looks like it is at the heart of the army, Psychic weapons feel like they are getting some proper identity back, and the new detachments are giving love to Paladins, Purgation Squads and Interceptors.

The big one for me though… Interceptors apparently having no leader “at this time” 👀

That sounds very suspicious.

In the video I go through what was shown, what I think it means on the table, and whether Grey Knights are genuinely looking strong going into 11th.

Which detachment are you most excited for?

Paladins, Purgation Squads or Interceptors?

Is Gate of Infinity the best army rule in 40K?

Being able to pick up units, keep them safe, reposition for scoring, and pressure completely different parts of the board is huge.

But it also feels like one of those rules where the power depends massively on the player using it.

So where do we stand?

Is Gate of Infinity genuinely one of the best army rules in the game, or is it only that strong because Grey Knights players have to work so hard to get value from it?

Curious what people think 👇

New video is a back to basics breakdown of Gate of Infinity, going through how it works, when to use it, and the common mistakes to avoid. Hopefully useful for newer Grey Knights players, but also a good refresher for long time players too.

Are Grey Knights actually due a model refresh this edition? 🤔

Genuine question for the Grey Knights players out there. With how old some of our range is now, do you think we’re actually due a refresh this edition, or are we all just inhaling hope at this point? 😅

What would you want refreshed first? Draigo? Terminators? Strike Marines? Or are we dreaming too big? 🙏🏼

UKTC Mission: Purge ⚔️

Breaking down how I’d approach this mission as a Grey Knights player, key things to think about, deployment ideas and some common mistakes to avoid.

Purge can definitely catch you out if you’re not careful, especially with positioning and scoring, so hopefully this helps anyone prepping for UKTC events 👌🏻

Let me know your thoughts on the mission or if there’s anything you’d do differently 💪🏻

Are Purifiers the best unit Grey Knights have right now?

In this one I break down Purifiers properly, looking at their datasheet, 5-man vs 10-man units, special weapons, Crowe, Warpbane synergy, and how to actually use them on the table without just donating 125 to 250 points to your opponent 🤣

Would love to hear what people think. Are Purifiers carrying Grey Knights at the moment, or are we giving them too much hype?

UKTC #1 - Stop Losing Terraform With Grey Knights

Terraform can feel a bit awkward for Grey Knights sometimes 😅

So I thought I’d start a new series going through the current UKTC terrain and mission pack and how I’d personally approach each round as a Grey Knights player.

Starting with Round 1 - Terraform (Sweeping Engagement) covering deployment, staging, pressure, Warpbane tricks, common mistakes and how I’d try and score it.

Definitely not saying this is the way to play it 😆 just sharing what’s worked for me and my thought process.

Would genuinely love to hear how other Grey Knights players approach Terraform as well.

Grey Knights Just Got Their Psychic Power Back?

Just put together a quick Grey Knights video looking at the previewed 11th Edition Psychic changes and what they could mean for us.

For most of 10th, Psychic has often felt more like a downside than a proper strength, which feels a bit rough when you’re playing the psychic Space Marines 😅

But if Psychic attacks are now ignoring hit modifiers, that could be a really nice boost for units like Purifiers, Crowe, Librarians, Dreadknights, Paladins and all our psycannon/psilencer options.

Not saying Grey Knights are suddenly broken, but it does feel like Psychic might finally be getting some proper identity again.

Would love to hear what other Grey Knights players think.

I’ve finally got around to looking back at the 11th edition terrain previews and what they could mean for Grey Knights.

This one is not breaking news, I’ve just been a bit slow getting it done 🤦🏼 but terrain is such a massive part of how Grey Knights play that I wanted to go through it properly.

Hidden, cover changes, Plunging Fire, suggested layouts, Voldus potentially becoming even more annoying to shift… there’s a lot here that could really matter for the sons of Titan.

Also, apologies for the voice, I’ve got a cold and I’m definitely sounding a bit rough in this one 🤣

Come support the channel if you get chance ⚔️

I’ve started a new Grey Knights Unit Breakdown series on the channel, kicking things off with Grand Master Voldus.

This one looks at what he actually brings to the table, who he works best with, and how he fits across our detachments.

Really interested to hear what people think, and whether Voldus has earned a place in your lists. 💪🏻

I’ve just put together a new video looking at how the new mission system could affect Grey Knights in 11th Edition.

The bit that really stood out to me was how certain missions might punish units leaving the battlefield. For Grey Knights, that could make Gate of Infinity and other teleport tricks a bit more complicated.

Obviously our mobility is still one of the biggest strengths of the army, but if a marked or condemned unit leaves the table and gives up points, we might need to be a lot more careful about when we pick units up.

I still think the new mission system could be really interesting for Grey Knights overall, especially if it rewards armies for playing into their identity, but it does make me wonder how much our usual movement tricks might need to change.

Would love to hear what other Grey Knights players think. Do you reckon this helps us because of our mobility, or could it make some of our tricks a bit risky?

Just dropped a video breaking down how to deal with Land Raiders, Repulsor Executioners and the new Defiler builds that are starting to pop up.

Main focus is on stopping the delivery, screening properly and actually trading into these lists without throwing the game.

Curious what others are seeing locally, are vehicles becoming a real problem or are Grey Knights still handling it fine?

What’s working for you?

What’s not?

Quick video breaking down what 11th edition army building could mean for Grey Knights, what changes, what stays, and how it might shape our lists going forward.

u/WarpbaneTactics — 24 days ago

What are you hoping to see for Grey Knights in 11th edition? More unit variety, better internal balance, or something completely new?

Personally, I’m hoping to get a bit more internal balance so we’re not relying on the same few units every game, plus a few meaningful buffs to the underused stuff to open up more list building options.

Yes, we had one job 🤣

I’ve put together a full GT recap going through the Warpbane Task Force list, each matchup, the scores, what went well, what didn’t go quite to plan, and what I learned from the event.

Finished 4 and 1 overall, with wins into Orks, Imperial Knights, Salamanders and Deathwatch, before the final round loss into Chaos Daemons.

Would really appreciate any support, feedback, likes or subscribes as I keep building the channel and putting out more Grey Knights content.
