I love painting alpha legion

The original plastic contemptor dreadnought. Found it at my lgs for 10$, an easy buy.

Could I get some advice on painting heads? This is my second attempt and would like to get better at it. Is there certain paints and washes that are used?, I would like to know thx.

Disintegrator’s are such cool weapons.

Can’t wait for mkiv.

Honestly I could see this being 230$ usd. But what do yall think.

I don’t care what the rules say, my alpha legion terminator WILL equip a plasma cannon and my opponent CANT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT.

Completed my saboteur council.

Might do this again but with the plasma cannon or the icarus assault cannon.

What a pain in the ass it was to build and paint but well worth it once I finished it, Hydra Dominatus death to the traitors.

FYI The blown up body with its guts out is a word bearer, I hate word bearers.

After 1 week and countless hours of work, my alpha legion gunship is finished. I will never again buy this model until it releases in plastic.

Anytime I can add a dead word bearer it becomes a good day for me. Just got to add the silver trim on him, some nun oil and it’s finished. Used some old minis lying around for the base.

Managed to get my replacement bolt cannon in today, loving the painting I just hate and despise the building of it. I would not wish anyone to experience building this thing is actual torture.

Building this thing just keeps getting worse and worse I swear.

Luckily customer support is sending a replacement in 3-5 days.

On EVERYONES SOUL WE HATE EREBUS.

Never again will I ever put my self through such a torment, I believe that being with a night lord for 1 hour is less of a torture than building the fire raptor. I look at it with such anger and rage on how such a thing could bring me much pain and sorrow. The day GW brings out a plastic version is the day humanity moves on from such a terrible horrible tragedy.

I still have a storm eagle to build 😭😭.
