Finally my M1 MacBook Pro 14” has finally died.

Went to my local Best Buy and they are running a Memorial Day sale for MacBooks. Can I get advice on which one is the better deal?

Torn between these two options.

MacBook Air 15” M5, 24GB and 1000GB SSD for $1,550.

MacBook Pro 14” M5, 16GB and 512GB for $1,450.

I travel with my laptop a lot, I do basic admin work such as email, video meetings, streaming video (a lot of YouTube and crunchyroll), invoicing etc.

I know I’m losing my 120hz display but willing to overlook if the air performs far better. Which one would you pick?

I am a huge gamer and also work from home some days taking meetings on zoom and always on google meets calls.

I’ve been on a journey trying to find the most minimal mic and headset combo. I am just a fan of minimal things down to my wardrobe. I currently have the Quadcast 2 X along with some wired IEM’s (I HATE WIRES) but even this seems a bit cluttered to me.

May I present what I think is believed to be the slickest Mic & Headset combo, Arctis Steel Series Earbuds paired with the DGI Mic 3 are a freaking blessing. They look so sleek when paired together, sure the earbuds don’t give you $600 IEM sound quality but they definitely sound great. Thought the mic would struggle with keyboard/mic clicks in the background but the mic quality is crisp and can even magnetize it onto my desk lamp if I don’t want to attach to my clothes to talk. If your into no wires, a slick pick up and play wireless setup I recommend this combo 100%
