Anatomy of Micron Day Trades This Morning Using Simple Studies

9:30 - Market opens and MU rips lower

9:37- RSI hits 21.78(deep short term oversold) large institutional buy orders come in @ $1,020

9:48 - 14 and 20 candle SMAs crossover and price rises above the VWAP (strong confirmation the entry point was correct)

10:13 - RSI hits 75.23( short term overbought) heavy sell orders come in @ $1,070 Stock sells off triggering stops along the way and tanks

10:28 - RSI dips to 22 again and the next entry point begins to build

11:07 - 14 and 20 MAs crossover again. Stock rips from $1,028 to $1,044 up 17 points in 8 minutes

And so on …

An institutional buy of 100K shares @ $1,020 @ 9:37 and sale @ $1,070@ 10:13 is a 5 million dollar profit in 36 minutes.

I will probably get beat up pretty good by all of the “ professionals “ here in the sub over my methodology but whatever, works for me.

For what it’s worth, I hold a stack of MU shares for long term and trade the MUU shares
