Have an order still stuck on pending review apparently but fingers crossed here.
This is a small entrance way wall, 4.5 feet wide. We had to repair one damage side.
After cutting it out and replacing it, some of the old drywall tape came apart revealing that I now have 4 edges touching and not staggered. I just did a bit of prefill in the photo.
Should I redo this and pull the bottom piece out and staggered it or will the paper tape suffice given its such small area? I am leaning towards keeping it.
Torn on what to do here.
And advice? And I would run the tape overlapping - I feel like that’s enough strength. But what do I know.
Doing a drywall repair project and have some decent size chunks of torn drywall paper that I need to prime and seal.
I have used BIN in the past and it absolutely stinks… I don’t want to stink up the home and have a young child.
Are there any other low VOC primers that will do the trick? Want to keep the smell down to a minimum.
Has been a while since I did some drywalling.
Is this mud suitable for taping and inside corners? Will prefill joints with quickset 20 before taping.
If not, what product should I use for taping before switching to this all purpose for top coats. Small job of a few 4x4 foot patches after water damage. I don’t want to be sanding for years.
So I had these as testers a year and bit ago and looking to purchase them now but seeing all these reviews that something has changed.
I think these are the two week ones but I could have sworn the store said they were 30 day lenses.
Any update on the quality of these as I read about the package change and quality change apparently.
Confirming if anyone knows if these are two week ones.
Would you be getting a 165 now or waiting it out for the season on the supposed release of the 170.
The 165 is on sale everywhere right now.
