Ideas re fascia and window trim color for this US Southwest MCM house?
Fascia color: original is this medium blue as you see. New window frames are dark brown. Roof flashing is dark brown (roof itself is light brown). House is off-white stucco (needs repainting). Window trim is the same medium blue as fascia. The original window frames were steel and also that same blue.
I'm having the fascia repainted, and I'll repaint the window trim also. What color for the fascia, do you think? Dark brown feels like it makes a very thick dark line, too heavy. The blue feels dated (although I generally like pops of color) and maybe renders the whole facade too chaotic? Other possibilities are off-white and close to the house color, a pale taupe, a medium brown, a dark copper, idk what else. The brick around the center window has shades of taupe, rust, and terracotta.
I don't want to stick with blue around the center window. What color do you suggest?
I don't want to keep the blue for the fascia. What color/s do you suggest, and why?
I would kind of like to keep the pop of blue beneath the windows. Is that too renegade? Not aesthetically pleasing? What other colors would you suggest?
Thank you so much for any ideas, friends.
