So I got admission in the EEE branch and after paying the initial fees they announced that an additional mess fee is gonna cost 80K. The budget was already tight and now it's not at all affordable. My family income is below 3.5 lpa so now this merit cum means scholarship is my sole deciding factor. I'll join if and only if I get this scholarship.

I haven't yet filled the scholarship docs because I'm waiting for a certificate. I wanted to know in detail about this scholarship process to get an idea if I'm eligible to claim it or not and opt for a different college before this academic year begins. If any senior has this scholarship or someone knows about it please let me know.

I got Amrita CBE AID(CPS&S). First of all what is the difference between this course and CSE(AI). Is the curriculum similar? And does it have good placements.

I wrote my exam on 2nd may and got an interview mail today. Can any senior or someone who has already given the interview please help me to prepare for my interview! 🙏

I will most probably take CSE or ECE. So I was thinking of learning any programming language. Can anyone suggest what I should learn. Java, C, C++ or C sharp. Is there anything else I could learn instead of programming language. I just want to develop a skill before going to college so any suggestions please!

Can any senior tell me what did they get with 9.2k rank in AEEE? I need ECE in cat 2-3 in Chennai, is it possible can someone guarantee me with previous year data?

Why are they asking only one choice!!? Will I get other choices later?

And for example if there are multiple choice filling options, and I choose CSE in the first round and ECE and 2nd round. Let's say I got CSE in the first round then if I changed my mind will I be able to choose ECE that I choose in the 2nd round? Please help me the choice filling ends tomorrow morning 😭

I got 9255 rank in aeee. Thought of choosing ECE Chennai in slab 2 or 3. I have a few questions

1)Will i get at least what I want? 🤡

2. Is only the Coimbatore campus worth going to and are all other campuses waste?

3. Does Amrita even give placements for ECE students?

4. What is the placement rate? What is the median, average and highest package?

And please be honest and tell the reality of what is going on in all campuses. Is Amrita really worth spending?

I called their helpline number rn and the bot says the working hours are Mon- Sat 9:00 - 7:30 , so call tomorrow and hang up 😭🙏

My SRMJEEE 2026 rank is 7293. Is this a good rank? What will I get with this rank? Will I get any good brand in the low fee slab? Seniors please help me out my councelling starts tomorrow!
