Hello friends,
Just bought the BD1 remaster on Steam. I loved the original back on 3DS and am having a blast with this remaster.
However, I don’t have any Steam friends who play this game so I wanted to obtain some mates for Abilink purposes.
My Steam friend code is 65205364 if anyone wants to add me :)
I personally still use my API key on my Apollo, but just installed it on her phone. Seemed to work fine for a bit but now it’s not loading anything for her. No posts, comments, subreddits, etc.
She opened Artemis (another Reddit app) and that one is showing “too many requests” so it’s almost like whatever the Apollo workaround is might have borked her account somehow..
Is this a known issue? Is there a workaround for it?
First off, shout out to the devs keeping this app alive and improving it constantly. Appreciate y’all.
I’ve been trying to figure out how to get the Open in Apollo extension to work. I turned in on in the app itself but it doesn’t seem to do anything. Do I need to set up something else?
Edit: I use Brave as my default browser if that helps.
My copy of TwiPri is the .ciso, and apparently you can use GameCube File Tools program to "patch" a .iso, but that seems super convoluted.
Is there a way, using Henriko's 1080p HD textures as a base, to just replace specific models?
For example I want to try out the Linkle mod (https://gamebanana.com/updates/420352) and the ones from this video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8N-V4IJ7F9Q) but it's a bit confusing. Is there a way to just go into the Dusklight > texture_dumps / texture_replacements folder (I'm on mac) and replace certain textures? Or do I have to convert the .ciso into .iso and do that whole rigamarole?
Thanks in advance. Really digging Dusklight!
I was playing like normal, noticed my SD was at 10% battery, so I plugged in my Anker 737 power bank and noticed it wasn’t charging. This happens sometimes, usually just have to unplug and reposition until it works.
Well, something tripped off the power bank and must have sent a diabolical charge onto my steam deck because it immediately turns off. No boot down screen or anything.
The power bank went from 42% charge to 0% and got/stayed really hot for like 30 minutes. That thing is totally dead.
And it killed my Steam Deck.
I’ve kept it plugged in for about 12 hours, no LED light, nothing. I tried multiple button combos for booting into bios reset, etc (vol - + … + power button, long press power, etc) and there’s not reaction at all.
I didn’t smell any electrical fire smell from the SD, it didn’t get hot or anything. But the way it just shut itself off immediately has me concerned something got obliterated.
I contacted Steam support and they gave me the same steps to try (boot into / reset bios), after those didn’t work they said I’d have to send it in and pay upwards of 225€ for repairs. I can’t afford that right now.
Wondering if anyone has any other ideas I can try. My only remaining hope is that the BMS (battery management system) kicked in and saved the battery but that it just needs to stay plugged in for a certain amount of time before it’s back to normal. But that seems like a long shot.
