What i call a information bug is someone who gets obsessed about normal everyday things and have to know how they work, like a bug getting into the nitty gritty. This can be from learning the etymology of everyday catch phrases, so you can understand and use them properly... to why sinks have traps and knowing exactly how and why the trap works.

Essentially wide indepth information gathering led by your obsessive behaviour (not necessarily relating to your special interest). Just curious to see if anyone else does this.
