I know the phrasing is weird but is it recommended to switch from a gmail connection to proton on other apps? For example, can I disconnect my gamil from discord and replace it with proton.me without any issues? Is it more private and safe?

Also is there some apps/accounts that I shouldn't switch from gmail to proton?

So, recently, I reinstalled some old apps I was using a long time ago. And surprisingly, my data was still there and all the progression I’ve made was saved. But I don’t want any of this.

I have tried many different ways, even asked AI just for it to give me “The app is probably linked to your iCloud“. But I don’t use iCloud nor GameCenter and didn’t have an account for the games/apps.

Is there a way to completely remove ALL the saved data from these games/apps?

I’m on ios 18 if that can help.
