I am thinking about organising a surprise birthday party for my boyfriend of 5 months (kind of we’ve only been official for 1 but we’ve basically been a thing for a while now).
My boyfriend is really awesome and I wanna do something big for him. We’re slightly medium distance and we’ve spoken about him coming down for the week to stay at mine for his birthday coming up and basically have a week to celebrate.
I’m a relatively popular guy, I had about 100 people at my birthday party earlier this year and I love parties. He’s mentioned never really doing big parties for his birthday since he’s in a situation where he doesn’t have that many irl relationships other than family, but since introducing him to my close friends I feel like they’re all on a good track to being friends and get on really well.
Do we think it’d be a pretty fun idea to organise him a surprise birthday party with a few of my friends he’s gotten close with? Something really lowkey with just some balloons, cake and some video and board games set up (Mario kart, werewolf, Mario part, 1 2 Go, etc).
Do we think that’s cute silly fun?
