hello!! incoming sopho here na naghahanap ng dorms around upd,,,, to those who dorm sa mga studio-type units, kamusta naman? (in terms of space, privacy, or overall experience) mukhang mahirap kasi maghanap ng may bedrooms tapos may shared space outside the bedroom na for 3-4 pax lang 😓 thank you!!

unoable pero with effort kasi mararamdaman mo talaga ang zero-based system ng up kay sir HAHAHAHA e.g. 27/30 ka sa midterms, highest you can get na is 97. pero may pa-bonus naman! onti and reasonable ang reqs (mga 60 kami sa class tapos may isa pa atang handle si sir alongside his TAs so i think isa yun why) every end of a lesson, may day na alloted for group worksheets.
may times na info overload pero kung ano ang tinuro, yun lang din ang nasa exams! so dw. also since big section, hindi gaanong interactive and walang recitations during lecture (worksheet days meron) but syempre you can always ask questions
i genuinely enjoyed his class, walang araw ng klase na lumabas akong walang natutunan and lagi akong may laff sa class (funny sha magjoke guys give ko na yan). also, andaming baon na kwento ni sir from his under/grad days 😭 i appreciate his kwentos about up aza freshie rn
if i could take another history course na ituturo niya i would talaga huhuhu 10/10 #1 fan aq
not graduating yet (malayo layo pa hahahah) pero based on the college grad photos ive seen, dalawa ang medals na nakukuha ng may mga latin honors, 1 up medal (green and maroon ang lanyard) and 1 from their respective college. lagi po ba sha ganito or like may specific accomplishment ang isang grad kaya dalawa ang medal na nakukuha :00 super curious lang huhu thank youu

to those na nakapagdorm na sa areas na ito, which one ang better in terms of commute going to campus (im from cssp so i prefer ikot ;-;), meals, and safety (+ or anything in general)?
actually leaning to maginhawa since pwede ko pa lakarin papunta sa sakayan ng ikot sa baluyot but my parents na nakapagwork na before around maginhawa area kept saying na dahil commercial area, maingay daw 🥲

i have friends sa isang subject rn and medyo grupo kami because naging magkakasama kami sa isang practical exam (also similar ang discipline ng degprogs namin although im from a different college :>) tbh ka-vibe ko talaga sila but nahihiya ako magstart ng gc or something 😭 patapos na freshie year and im hoping may maka-close ako na people kahit they're from different degprogs :>

isang buong period nagdadaldalan, kahit sinuway na ng prof na medyo maingay daw, tuloy-tuloy pa rin ??? i was in second row tapos nasa bandang likod sila and rinig na rinig ko pa rin, what more yung mas malapit sa kanilang dalawa juskopo juskopo. andami ring tumitingin tuwing lumalakas boses nila 😭 idk if hindi lang sila aware or dedma lang sila.
this was one in one of the big classrooms sa AS btw. just imagine gaano katahimik ang room for me to hear them 😛 super interesting pa naman ng lecture and ang hirap magfocus....
