**Need some real, unfiltered advice from people actually using the ASUS Gaming V16 (or TUF A16)**

**The laptop pricing in India right now is insane. Outside of sales, TUF prices are sitting well past ₹1L+, while the V16 hover around ₹80k–₹85k (hoping BBD/festive sales bring the V16 down to \~₹65k–₹70k and TUF A16 to \~₹78k–₹82k).**

**I’m trying to figure out if spending that extra ₹12k–₹15k on the TUF A16 is actually worth it for my specific routine, or if the V16 is completely fine.**

**My Actual Requirements & Routine:**

**1. Primary Use: Daily office/business work (billing, spreadsheets, heavy browser tabs, docs).**

**2. Gaming: Purely casual single-player AAA story games (*****Ghost of Tsushima, RDR2, God of War, Spider-Man*****). Maybe 1–2 hours at night whenever I’m not dead tired from work. Not an eSports/competitive player.**

**3. Setup: I’ll be gaming with the laptop elevated on a stand and have G-Helper installed.**

**Questions for current V16 / TUF A16 owners:**

**Battery Life: How much actual screen-on-time are you getting on the V16 (63Wh) for basic office tasks/browsing on battery saver? Is the TUF A16 (90Wh + Ryzen) vastly better in real life?**

**Thermals: I saw reviews showing the V16 touching 90°C–95°C on stock settings. For those using G-Helper (CPU Boost disabled / efficient) + an elevated stand, do the temperatures genuinely stay under control (\~75°C) during 2-hour gaming sessions?**

**VERY IMPORTANT PLEASE TELL ME ABOUT THIS**
**Single SSD Slot Hassle (V16): The V16 only having 1x M.2 slot is a bit concerning for the long term. Is cloning to a 1TB drive later down the road a headache, or does having the dual slots on the TUF make it worth the extra money right away?**⭐️⭐️⭐️

**65W TGP vs 115W+ & MUX: For someone playing casual AAA story games at 1080p/1200p with DLSS + Frame Gen, do you actually feel the lower TGP on the V16, or is the performance buttery smooth regardless?**

**Given the current market pricing in India, should I stretch my budget for the TUF A16, or just grab the V16 in the upcoming sales and save the cash?**

Excuse me but can you please tell me how is the battery life of this Laptop.. I am planning to buy a laptop and right now I have 2 options

1. Asus V16 with rtx 4050 and core 5
2. Asus Vivobook S16 Oled Intel Core Ultra 225H

I want-
3. Good Enough display for movies and YouTube.
4. **Heavy use of ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini** and Al tools.
5. Exam preparation (many Chrome tabs, PDFs, Office).
6. **Family business work** (Excel, browser, documents, multitasking). \* Important
7. I want the laptop to remain good for at least 4-5 years.
8. I want to play AAA games occasionally.
My main games are:
\* GTA V
\* Spider-Man Remastered
\* Spider-Man Miles Morales
\* God of War
\* Red Dead Redemption 2
9. **Good battery life is important** atleast 4-5 hrs
10. Upgradeability (RAM/SSD) is a plus.

So now am confused should i go for better display or better performance.. This is my first kinda gaming laptop.. With my business pressure and all ik i wont get the chance to game much but the kid in me just want the ability to experience these games once if someday weekend am free..

Which one would you suggest?
