Hi all, I joined GS this year in july as an intern convert. Just wanted to ask what salary progression can ops analysts expect in GBM private.
I (21M) recently introduced my girlfriend (20F) whom I love from the bottom of my heart to my father thinking that he will like her and I too wanted a setting where my parents are friendly with my girlfriend. After that meeting 2-3 days later my dad called me and said he hated my choice and I fought for it saying why did you not like her? His answer baffled me “Isnt she too fat, you guys are no good match she stands nowhere near you” I was fuming I burst onto him and defended her but this kept on going where he multiple times asked me not to marry her or be serious because she was fat. My brother (15M) too heard all this and he hates me and will go to any lengths to disrespect her and he even told my cousins that she is fat and ugly and even my cousins started bodyshaming her. What my father told me initially, my girlfriend heard all that because she was just beside me and that scared her. Now I am scared that if I marry her these people who are so insensitive and self rightous might disrespect her or her family. I am heavily stressed I need some pep talk.
Tldr: My family bodyshames my girlfriend constantly and I am scared if I bring her to my home they will make her feel uncomfortable.
