Update on me being accused of using AI.

I got most of my credits back. She gave me a 12/15. I was missing some examples, which is better than being accused of using AI. I’m back up to an “B.” In her class. I did agree to schedule a video call with her. She is a nice professor; she did give me 2 weeks with no repercussions because I had knee surgery. So I try and make sure I do great in her class. Nonetheless, I feel better now, and moving forward, I will definitely check my work

To Add: some of you need a reality check fast. Most of you guys probably aren’t even in college or miserable grad students. It’s college, not an interview for the White House. I’m not going back and forth with people who need to touch grass.

Accused of using AI because of a spelling error.

College professors have got to find another way to grade people’s works, especially writing discussions. So for the past day, I have been trying to figure out why I was giving a low grade. I was going to accept it, but people on here kept saying to fight it. So I fought it. When I tell you, I just want to cry. The professor took nearly 10 points off my grade because of a spelling error. I got accused of using “ Al” because of a spelling error. I should have made sure my work was correct before I submitted it, but this was just extreme. I’m at a loss for words right now.

Edit: How I do my work works for me, and I will not change it. When I wrote koosh ball or kobosh ball, it’s a note for me to remember that it’s one of the other. I like to do placeholders for spelling, especially when I’m writing essays. When I write and I have my thought processed, I like to keep going. I don’t stop to fix an error right then because it’ll mess me up. It may not work for you, and it may not make sense for you, but it’s how I write. I have been writing like that since I started college 3 years ago. It’s no different than leaving a comment in Google Docs. It’s no different than writing a note on a sticky note. I will not go back and forth if you felt I used AI; that’s up to you. I know I didn’t use it; it’s an intro class. The work isn’t hard, so there’s no reason to use AI. All your answers are literally in the article if you read it. I made a spelling error and I forgot to edit a part of my essay. It’s a simple mistake. And yes I’m blocking people.

Discussion post was graded for allegedly using AI.

Should’ve posted here first. Post got removed in a mildly infuriating. Got a low grade because my professor accused me of using AI. How am I supposed to rewrite something that I already wrote by hand? It’s not even worth going back and forth. They’re just going to say “I uploaded it to Turnitin and that’s what it said.” I’m over it already. Like some of us can write good essays without needing AI. I used to write essays in class literally by hand in a notebook. That’s how we were taught in grade school. I’m not going to dumb myself down just to pass some robot test.

Checked my loan amount

Got the notification to check my financial aid package for 2026-2027. It took me to my loan amount mind you I’m in CC. There ain’t no way they’re giving me 3 million dollars in loans. I did send an email and ask them what is happening. I can’t even afford to pay back 3 million.

[Spoilers] Theory on Lagertha

I have a theory: Lagertha sold Astrid to Harald. Harald goes back to Kattegat. He talks about marriage to bring the kingdoms together. Lagertha disagrees; she has him beaten, and she assaults him. Watching this show, anyone can tell she’s power-hungry. She’s scared of losing Kattegat and will do anything to keep it. She also knows she can’t let an enemy just leave without something to keep him silent. The morning after Astrid is kidnapped somehow. Harald escapes her powerful army. It seems impossible, but it happened. Lagertha questions Astrid’s whereabouts, but she doesn’t seem worried. As much as she claimed to love her, she didn’t have a care in the world. She didn’t send a hunting party out for her. If your lover and top warrior is kidnapped, I’m pretty sure you would be trying your hardest to get them back. She made a deal with Harald: he takes Astrid so that satisfied his desire for a wife; in return, she gets time to prepare Kattegat for the civil war. She knew Harald had secrets on her as well.

To add, the whole scene didn’t make sense; you’re telling me nobody heard anything in the middle of the night? Astrid for sure would’ve screamed, and the place is wood and stone. Harald was heavily built. Also, it just jumps to them running in saying Harald escaped. It also was suspicious how the first question was “where is Astrid?” Not “Lock the gates, check the army.”
